    I'll add this mini rant to the thread, but this whole weekend I was just disgusted at the Score 670. It was nothing but a Sox whine fast the entire time. God forbit they praise 1 single damn thing about the North Side team and their solid play. I understand they are a "Sox" station, but they are also a Chicago station and they were a Chicago station before they even started covering Sox games. The worst was Friday with their non-stop bitching after the game. Not once did the idiot host or moron Sox fans stop and think for a second that they simply got beat by a dominant Zambrano. And also how about some credit to Soriano who is simply on fire right now. Without the pitching of Z and the bat of Sori, this is a very different series. The Sox didn't lose this series, the Cubs won it with their star players.

    Given that he is a converted infielder, shouldn't it help that he has less mileage on his arm? Depends on how you look at it. Some players are able to convert into becoming a pitcher and some end of blowing out their arms trying to. Im not going to go into the mechanical side of it because the majority of the people would not understand it. I young grasshopper, but one day wish to branch out into the world with your vast knowledge of these "mechanics" you speak of, sensai.

    Who said we aren't signing Tillman? Where are you getting that? I will be really tough to give deals both starting corners. I'm not so sure that's true. I hope they can sign both, but if i had to choose between one of them, I take Tillman easily.

    Bears just signed the wrong corner to an extension. Vasher is a disposable player. Good luck finding a corner that can do what Tillman does.(excluding his brutal 06 season)

    I'd be shocked if he went there only because I have read in several places that they won't meet Williams' likely asking price in terms of prospects. I'm still thinking Phillies. I would guess that the Phillies are gun shy trading pitchers from the Sox with the Freddy Garcia debacle. That was a garbage for garbage trade...I don't think it would prevent another Sox-Phillies deal.

    I heard the deal has hit a snag because not only does Hendry want a bag of baseballs for Jacque, he wants a box of golf balls too, Callaways... http://www.callawaygolf.com/en.BALLS.Warbird.html Hendry is pushing his luck with this.
