    Wow...this organization really hates Murton I guess. :shock: I'm thinking they want someone who can play first while lee is out. Now if they keep him and play in in RF after Lee gets back, then your guess is as good as mine. I guess. I though I remember reading somewhere last year that during Lee's injury they were going to try Murton out at 1B for a bit.

    ahh..finally found the thread to talk about Grienke...the other one was locked...which is getting quite annoying IMO. I'd love to get a deal done for this kid. Zambrano can mentor the kid and help him out with his depression issues.

    No way the Braves trade Salty for just Arroyo. The Reds would definitely need to sweeten that deal. Agreed.

    Olney is reporting a Salty for Arroyo rumor. Atlanta gets screwed in that deal. Just move Salty to 1B...Thorman is not the long term solution there.

    And I think the fact she's mentioned at least twice that Bruce can back her up adds credibility as well. It's not her fault if nobody actually takes her up on it and asks Bruce. I once asked her if she worked for the Tribune company, and she took offense to that.

    LOL..who did that fatass know in the Tribune company to get such a job. c'mon... he works on the grounds crew, it's not like you have to be in peak physical condition to do that sort of thing. I feel bad for the guy, he's obviously overweight and wasn't able to keep up with the rest of the grounds crew, and for some reason the ESPN cameraman saw fit to single him out on national television. You don't have to be in peak physical shape, but for crying out loud...the little slob probably will collapse on the field someday. Okay, both of you need to get your asses kicked. Just because he's overweight means he shouldn't be allowed to do anything physical? Screw you than, maybe he should just go sit on his ass and get fatter? Yeah, great plan. Lighten up francis. He can go workout at Bally's and come back when he can keep up with the rest.

    The decision to give Rami the day off had already been made prior to yesterday's game. It's not like there's some rule that says you have to stick by such decisions. You have to adapt to what else is going on. I agree 100%. Screw the future health of our all star third baseman. Todays game will decide the penant. Or you could wait 1-2 days so Floyd gets back and we're no longer facing one of the best starters in the NL. Floyd is in RF today.

I'm not sure how deciding to put off a day of rest for Ramirez with Lee on the bench for 5 games is screwing the future of Aramis. You will be without the Lee/Ramirez combo for at least 1 day during Derrek's suspension. You can't put off his rest day until it is over.
