Actually, they wrapped up the division the game before the Indians series. The Indians series meant nothing to the White Sox, but everything to the Indians. The only reason I bring it up is I was at the game on the 20th (don't ask why). At home, against their biggest rival, late September, only up 2.5 games, they led the division from start to finish, and they were only at 60% capacity. Whenever a Sox fan likes to tell me how Cub fans suck, I remind them of this game and it always shuts them up.
