  1. Daniel Cabrera has 3 wild pitches and 3 walks through the first 2 innings....
  2. I'm just glad for my fantasy team's sake that Pedroia finally remembered he won an MVP last year.
  3. Ha gotcha, the last Johnson was meant to be Hoff Also, I forgot that Aram is back and thankfully, Miles isn't starting so we actually do have a backup for MI
  4. So wait, Soriano, Fukudome, Johnson, Bradley, Gathright, and Johnson are all OFs on this team? That sounds like a lot considering we have basically no MI replacements today
  5. The Cubs travel to Milwaukee for the second series of the year against the rival Milwaukee Brewers Taking the hill for the 2-1 Cubs is http://www.anothercubsblog.net/images/uploads/RichHarden.jpg against http://image.examiner.com/images/blog/wysiwyg/image/Braden_Looper.jpg Hopefully all his Cardinal magic is dried up and we can continue our offensive explosion Go Cubs!
  6. After ruining our perfect season, Teddy Roosevelt tries to salvage what is left of it by taking the hill http://www.baseball-almanac.com/players/pics/ted_lilly_autograph.jpg Taking the hill for the Astros is the one, the only, the great Brian Moehler http://www.homeruncards.com/imagesrc/brian-moehler.jpg Let's shell this clown
  7. Did Randy Wolf pitch and Thome hit a bomb?
  8. Yeah I know but I am viewing this year as his second full season
  9. Yeah I tentatively have Pujols, Hamilton, and Webb but it's basically a sophomore season for both Hamilton and Longoria so they both have risks.
  10. I won my 12 team 5X5 league last year, and we have the option of selecting up to 3 keepers. If I don't select any, I will have the last pick of the first three rounds so I am definitely going to select three. Of the possible candidates, I have Pujols, Longoria, Hamilton, Dunn, Webb Halladay, and Harden. Who should I keep?
  11. http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20090105&content_id=3733124&vkey=hotstove2008&fext=.jsp
  12. hopefully, I won't have to start a game thread, but in the rare chance we lose a game, I would like to sign up.
  13. some notables include Mark Teixeira Carlos Delgado Rafael Furcal Orlando Cabrera Edgar Renteria Joe Crede Garrett Anderson (club option) Pat Burrell Carl Crawford (club option) Adan Dunn Manny Ramirez Rocco Baldelli Bobby Abreu Casey Blake Brian Giles (club option) Ken Griffey (club option) Vladimir Guerrero (club option) Raul Ibanez
  14. i think this is a little over the top. Yes, I am unbelievably upset about the playoff results, as are all Cub fans. I think it is a bit much to say the city has given up on them. I will admit it, I cried with Soriano struck out on that check swing to end the year, but I am looking forward to next year as much as ever. It's an unconditional love.
  15. I don't even want CC at this point, especially for what it will cost.
  16. took a "fighting stance" haha
  17. I'm hoping good because I want to stay positive. Maybe all the teams down 0-2 will come back....except the White Sox.
