Lidge was out of the closer job last year. not true. He blew a save in their homestand. it was temporary last year He lost the job last year. Got it back this year. Blew a game already this year. Cards fan who has hated the Cubs all my life here to offer my thoughts and prayers. Despite the trash talk that went back and forth between Cards and Cubs fans last year in the MVP debate, this is much bigger than baseball. Derrek Lee is one of the good guys, and it's heartbreaking to see such a classy individual having to watch his little girl in pain. Here's hoping Jada gets well soon and Lee returns strong in 2007 for a renewed MVP race...
