  1. Did anyone see whats happened at the end of the Cincy WVU game? Cincy was up 20-7 with 1:19 left. WVU gets a safety on a blocked punt, 20-9. They then drive the ball 62 yards for a touchdown. They make the two point conversion to make it 20-17 with 0:23 left. They get an onside kick. They make a 31 yard pass with :17 left. Finally, they kick a 51 yard field goal to tie the game as time expires. Nuts.
  2. Well Tim Tebow's night is done. It's not even the fourth quarter. That's four games in a row his night has been over before the fourth. Florida has had one drive where they didn't score a touchdown....a drive where they "allegedly" fumbled it inside the one yard line. Video evidence shows the fumble occurred cross the line (ie it was a touchdown). Five total TDs, 12/17 passing. 87 yards rushing
  3. hey that was a fun game to watch...even if the teams turned out to be not that good. anyways, if youre keeping score at home Total Yards 226 Tim Tebow (Passing + Rushing) 90 Vanderbilt 77 Percy Harvin 73 Tim Tebow (Rushing Only)
  4. Leach, Peterson, Mendenhall, Kelly, Beamer, Richt, Spurrier, etc. Leach? Hell no. Leach is a gimmick team. They're this years USF (ie not #2 but ranked #2). Chris Peterson at Boise State? What? BYUs Mendenhall? C'mon they need to play in a real league first. Kelly no. Beamer, eh.... I don't think so. Spurrier, ten years ago yes now not so much. Richt? Maybe. What do you think of Butch Davis in that first group? i dunno. you can make a case for any of the guys in the second group over les

  6. i just want this to end. towers just make the deal already. dont play with my emotions. you know that peavys my favorite noncub
  7. Yes. He's not Saban or Meyer, but he's one of the top coaches in the country. My god he's 45-7 or something at LSU. He's had a rough bump this season. Really the big screw up for them this season is lack of a good QB. The Perriloux situation really hurt them. C'mon they took a top five team to OT. theyre fine. they played well. they got outclassed by the best team in the country though, but right now florida would beat anyone like that. This is the sort of "his track record is good!" thinking that led people to believe that Dusty Baker was a good manager. I've watched a lot of LSU football and to even put this fraud in the class of Saban, Carroll, Meyer, etc. is just way off base. The guy makes boneheaded decisions like they're going out of style. He's gotten really lucky on some of them but we'll start to see some mean reversion on that (we already have). As bad as Michigan is, they should thank their lucky stars this loser didn't accept the job. i really didnt see him doing anything in this game that was stupid. he's been risky in the past by going for most fourth downs. but really some of those decisions were good ones. really, in game decisions are only a small part of how to grade a coach
  8. but define elite. is he top five? probably not. is he one of the top dozen or so? probably. guys id take over him (in no order) easily pete carroll jim tressell nick saban urban meyer then you look at this list and you can make cases either way: butch davis mack brown bob stoops tommy tuberville i cant really think of a tenth guy id take over him easily.

  10. top five? yes. one? no.
  11. If Michigan State beats Penn State, Ohio State goes.
  12. Well. UF outplayed Ole Miss big time. That being said, you've got a point. Losing to Ole Miss, a team comparable to the Okie States of the world isn't a bad loss, especially when you outplay them. Losing to Iowa, a team comparable to most top 25 teams, isn't all that bad. Really, this is NOT a bad loss. Penn State will fall behind most one loss teams, but I'll certainly keep them ahead of Texas Tech if Tech falters (and still ahead of Oklahoma State). Really, this loss changes very little.
  13. now florida controls their own destiny. win out and they're in even bama slips up before the game now. it's pretty much going to be SEC winner vs Big XII winner. Get ready for some fun.
  14. can someone give me credit for defending the iowa hawkeyes?
  15. oh man i was at the texas game today....lol tennesee...wtf georgia.... and good job UNC
  16. and Towers is conferring with Big Bird.
  17. my sources at Friar Nation.com have said that the Cubs deal with the Padres is imminent. Apparently, Kevin Towers is conferring with Big Bird, that in fact Oscar the Grouch was indeed the ringleader of Sesame Street. As for how this ties into the trade is up for speculation. It should be noted that Big Bird and Mike Fontenot have the same hair color.
  18. truffle you have no idea...
  19. i use that because you guys would have a cow if I used something else. and even if i do use that the acc would still win one or two games. and predictor is inaccurate when your SOS is over 100. ball states ranking is pretty useless, much like james madisons and boise states.
  20. not really... only three or four teams in the acc have a legitimate chance of winning. the others while alive really do not. the acc has good teams. in fact, if you lined up the teams 1-4 from the acc vs the teams 1-4 from the big xii. the acc would win two of the four games if not more. theyre as good as any body out there. big xii south included. it's too bad the world doesn't think that. come bowl season people will be surprised about how well the acc performs.
  21. and theyre all better than ball state...
  22. This can also be written "they'd have a legitimate chance of winning the ACC". no, no they would not
  23. dude theyd finished 8th or 9th in the ACC, maybe worse.
  24. ball state sucks compared to tcu. ball state would get whooped by them. ball state has no chance of a bcs
  25. because some psycho shot up virginia tech and maryland is closer to bristol than fort worth or salt lake. anyways, welcome to the 2000s. I watched it online.
