  1. Does anyone remember the refund procedure? They took it down from the website. I know last year the NLDS tickets to game 4 had to be mailed back in, but the NLCS tickets were automatically refunded. The VWR link is http://frontline.protected.tickets.com/buy/MLBOnsale?agency=MLB&orgid=21570&poid=12437&roomid=5, by the way.
  2. This just means I get to throw away $30 or so in non-refundable fees.
  3. By the way, here are the prices: Club Box - IF - $150 Club Box - OF - $125 Field Box - IF - $125 Field Box - OF - $110 Terrace Box - IF - $100 Terrace Box - OF - $90 Upper Deck Box - IF - $100 Upper Deck Box - OF - $90 Bleacher Reserved - $100 Terrace Reserved - IF - $70 Terrace Reserved - OF - $60 Upper Deck Reserved - IF - $50 Upper Deck Reserved - OF - $40 Standing Room Only - $30
  4. The names, addresses, etc. didn't have to match for the NLDS, so I doubt it. Country shouldn't matter for print at home. It's a URL that anyone can open.
  5. That email doesn't contain the password, though. If it was a winner, you'll get an email in the morning with the password.
  6. He likely was going to be inactive, anyways. And it's probably better he doesn't play this week.
  7. There's less of a chance for released tickets during the NLCS. They've only been releasing a few at a time for the NLDS and there will be fewer tickets made available to the public for the NLCS.
  8. It took a long time for NLDS tickets to "sell out" with lottery winners. There will be time, the the first two games will be more popular than games 6 and 7.
  9. First come, first serve. You can pick any game you want. If you don't find seats or not the ones you're looking for, you can theoretically go out and select a new game. You'd be wasting time, though it's not going to be a "huge" crunch like it would have been if it were VWR. And speaking of VWR, it will be used. If you open up 30 windows, though, you'll probably get through in a minute or 2. You don't have to be excessive about it.
  10. Congrats =D> If the Cubs win tonight, the . in my post will turn into a ! And if it makes anyone feel better, I just got rejected by the White Sox for ALCS tickets.
  11. I won the NLCS lottery and just got my email a minute ago.
  12. Then you got the wrong impression on TV. For one, you can't judge the crowd based on the five rows behind home plate. And crowd volume is not consistent from telecast to telecast. It was much louder than the average Cubs game. Then they were being loud while sitting on their butts far more often than many Wrigley crowds do. No, there was more standing yesterday evening than the average Cubs game, as well. Just not after the grand slam.
  13. I was apprehensive when the game started, but I didn't expect the rest of the crowd to be. When DeRo hit the homer, memories of 2008 came flushing over me, and suddenly I got the confidence I had in the regular season back. But when the offense did nothing the next 2 innings, I started counting the outs, something that's never good to do in the 4th inning. Honestly, until Loney hit the HR, I expected Demp to get out of it. But once that HR was hit, I felt like I got punched in the stomach. Suddenly my confidence turned into extreme pessimism, and you couldnt convince me the Cubs would come back I was pretty close to that, though I wasn't counting down the remaining outs. I was counting down the remaining outs until Dempster would be done and hopefully turn it over to Marmol. I was watching his pitch count the entire game, though, so counting the outs until the 8th soon turned into the 7th...and then the 6th.
  14. Then you got the wrong impression on TV. For one, you can't judge the crowd based on the five rows behind home plate. And crowd volume is not consistent from telecast to telecast. It was much louder than the average Cubs game.
  15. It's the picture of the dripping honeycomb on the box that gets you, isn't it?
  16. Sounds like thumb surgery. Biggs says he's likely out. However, Tillman has a good chance of playing, in his opinion.
  17. I would imagine that we'll see a lot of passwords being sold at lower prices if the Cubs lose.
  18. I think the cold contributed to it some, but the number of lengthy ABs early on and the number of walks by Dempster really seemed to kill the crowd. However, I'm not sure I've been to a game with two louder moments than the DeRosa HR and the strikeout with the bases loaded. Overall, though, it wasn't quite what I had expected for my first playoff game at Wrigley. The crowd seemed nervous. After the grand slam, the energy just collapsed.
  19. Someone try to keep track of game 2 tonight. My impression is that they re-released far fewer tickets to game 2 so far than game 1 and yesterday evening was when they put the most back out for game 1, so I'm inclined to believe that they'll do the same with game 2 later today.
  20. It looks like they took down game 2. Instead of saying no more tickets, it says not available, just like game 5. The only game that is "up" is game 1.
  21. The window will flash and you should get a popup. If you did custom, you can also have the window come to the front, though that doesn't always seem to work. You won't have to pay any attention to it, really.
  22. Hey, I put in the time to implement check4change. And it worked perfectly this time. Now hopefully they won't cancel anything, as my ticket tonight is at will call but the two I just got for game 2 in UD reserved are print at home.
  23. Just got a pair, but hurry.
