  1. Well this game sure went south fast. Up 31-22 at one point and now down 48-63.
  2. Doubtful. At the convention, Maloney said that shipments could be combined in response to a question about having to pay multiple FedEx fees ($15 each order), but nothing was said about other shipping methods. I'm not sure that they'd be able to do that, but it's worth a shot.
  3. I'd imagine so. I guess this year, FedEx is not a requirement (it's not even an option) for bleacher tickets if you don't want will call. I'm not sure if you'd get the $2.50 refund, though, but you probably would. I didn't think you could pick up will call tickets this early, either. When you call up, they may ask you why you didn't select will call to begin with. That's what I told them. Apparently, it does say on the ticket selection screen, but there's no way I was going to take the time to read the fine print when I was trying to rush through on Friday and grab tickets.
  4. That's the first year that the Cubs are using it and for now, it's only for bleacher tickets. The Cubs/tickets.com will email or open up a link to a picture file of the tickets for the people who chose this method. They then download and print the images, which includes a barcode. Those sheets of paper are scanned at the bleacher gate just like regular tickets. Of course, you don't want that picture file to fall into the wrong hands, as the first barcode that is scanned will be accepted. If someone else got a hold of that somehow (like they had access to your computer) and tried to enter the bleachers before you, you'd be out of luck.
  5. So I could pick up all the games at will call on march 15? How does the payments work out, do they credit my cc? This could be worth many many old styles. Yeah, you can pick up all of the games at will call starting March 15th. There's no price difference, though. Both standard mail and will call officially don't have a delivery fee. Rather, they have a $3.00 "order processing" fee (it was $2.50 last year, I believe).
  6. Just wanted to let the local Cubs fans know that you can call up the Cubs at (866) 808-0890 and have your order changed from regular mail to will call if you want. Tickets will be available to be picked up starting March 15th. Just have the confirmation numbers and dates of the games handy.
  7. They may have stopped selling them, but for all the people that had them, of course we would get to keep ours. Yeah, the stopped selling those to new season ticket seekers in 2003 because the demand for season tickets was so high.
  8. I got cheap seats for the 8/14 game. I had several different pairs for the 8/13 game but kept on wanting to find slightly better ones. Well, the game because singles-only while I was doing that and blew it. I got too greedy. Of course, I did the same with the 8/14 game and went from partially obstructed to not obstructed at all. Tickets to the following games are no longer available or have scattered single seats: Apr 8 vs. Brewers May 21 vs. White Sox May 22 vs White Sox June 10 vs. Red Sox June 11 vs. Red Sox June 12 vs. Red Sox Aug 13 vs. Cardinals
  9. I doubt I'd be able to "afford" (what a funny word) them right now. And since I'm going to a Cubs/Red Sox game. And you just want to be able to buy me a beer, don't you? Just kidding. I really appreciate the offer. I'm sure you'll find a taker for those two! I'm not really worried about a taker. I know that I need three of them. My brother, nephew, and I will be coming. I just found out that Jenny has to work and can't get off, so I have three extra now. I'd love to trade the three for tickets to the Saturday game so we could go to both games...but I doubt that works out. Look into trading those three for possibly two UD reserve seats for the Saturday game. Contact some ticket brokers and ask. It'll be harder for you because you'd have to mail in the tickets, but it might be worth a shot.
  10. In case anyone was wondering, still no word on the Group tickets.

  12. Well, the Reds need some love, too. Hopefully windows won't timeout. They shouldn't, but who knows? By the way, should I cut my wristband off yet? I doubt 18365 will be of any use at any point.
  13. I will freely admit that i sold NLDS bleacher tickets for the Prior-Maddux game on eBay for $1200 for a pair EDIT: I lied. it was only $1000 http://files.raycommedia.com/wflx/puzzle/pics/apu.gif "You magnificent *******. I salute you."
  14. I got through a couple of minutes ago. i;ve gotten through 3 times. Bleachers are still available for White Sox friday and a lot of the St Louis games I'm still just trying for the 8/13 game. There were club box outfield, field box infield, and bleacher tickets available when I got through an hour ago, but I don't think I want to spend more than $30 a piece. And to think that $30 will only get me terrace reserve infield. yeah, i'm kinda pissed about that. 8/13 is my birthday. I got bleachers for 8/14 though I may end up trying to trade my 6 tickets for 6/10 for 4 for 6/11, and not just because it's my birthday. 6/10 is the last day for finals and I don't know yet if I have one that day or not. Burton- About this time every year, I tell my uncle or uncles what bleacher tickets are now going for. And every year, it's the same face that I get.

  16. I'm not positive, but it shouldn't kick you back out to the VWR. I haven't gotten through in the past 45 minutes. All of my windows are refreshing just fine (all 62 of them), but no luck recently).
  17. And another reminder: if you get through in multiple windows at the same time, do NOT go for the same game in both windows. It won't let you go for another game in one of those windows if you buy tickets for the first game in the other window. I already cost myself at least 45 minutes because of doing that.
  18. Remember, if all of your windows stop reloading, close them all and open up a ton again.
  19. what trick is that? You chant "two, two, two" while you watch your browser windows reload. lol. Doesn't seem to be working, though. I wonder when they're going to get to # 10646 at the box office. :) last year there was a trick to getting around the VWR that involved putting a number somewhere in the web address, but I don't remember it That was my trick and all it did was cost me about 90 minutes.
  20. That happened to me once two years ago when I got Yankees tickets. I think you'll just have to keep on trying to reload. Some of the boxes haven't loaded this year, as well. Dangit. I figured out why it's doing that. I had selected Red Sox tickets in that window but cancelled them. I ended up getting different Red Sox tickets in another window, but it's still making me go back to the VWR. ARGH.
  21. Seatdata.com I grabbed 6 good UD reserve seats for the June 10th game about 10 minutes ago. I passed up on four bad UD box seats and thankfully it paid off. Now if I can only get this ticket request for a Cardinals game to go through. When it does, it says that I already have tickets for that game.
  22. It's the opposite for me right now, although it seems to be going back and forth. So much for celebrating my 21st birthday at Wrigley this year.
  23. I closed most of my windows and redid it. Now they're all functioning correctly.
  24. Tickets to the following games are no longer available or have scattered single seats: June 11 vs. Red Sox :x Hopefully I can at least grab a single soon.
  25. Jon, I just got 6 to the Sunday Red Sox game. 2 are yours if you need them. Thanks a bunch for the offer, Vance. Hopefully I'll be able to get through shortly, but I'll let you know!
