  1. Wednesday it is for Wood: Hairston was dinged up today after yesterday's HBP: Prior will throw a simulated game on Monday and according to him, he'll probably have to miss a start or two. And the latest on Williamson:
  2. Wood: "Feeling great." Prior: Threw yesterday and will throw a simulated game tomorrow. Hoping to get into a game by the end of next week.
  3. Five in a row. That would be even better if it wasn't coming off of a losing streak. 100-96 the final.
  4. Bruised right knee for Curry. He's currently on the bike and although they said he may return, there's no reason for that. 90-77 with 4:36 left.
  5. So much for Curry hitting 40. He's on the bench and has his right knee wrapped. 81-72, 8:51 left. And another technical on Indiana.
  6. Yup. And I wouldn't mind seeing them repeat last night's victory against Boston. Even without Hinrich, the just completely took that game over late. Curry with a season high 27 points at the 5:10 marker in the third quarter.
  7. 55-45 at the half. Curry had 16 points in the first quarter and was looking very impressive. Duhon picked up two early fouls for the 2nd straight night, but the highlight so far was Reggie Miller being tossed after his second technical in the middle of the 2nd quarter! Hilarious. Carlisle was tossed arguing after that.
  8. Make that 5 for 25 for Boston in the 4th as the Bulls doubled 'em up. 94-86 the final!
  9. Great job by Duhon after early foul trouble and a great win for the Hinrich-less Bulls. Thanks to a 5 for 23 performance by Boston in the 4th quarter (so far), the Bulls are just 24 seconds away from a big win.
  10. Not liking the officiating tonight, but boy was that alley-oop from Gordon to Curry impressive. Not sure if it has started yet, but they said that the start to the Pacers/Pistons game was delayed because of some sort of threat against Indianapolis.
  11. Comments on Wood's session today:
  12. An update on Mark and an explanation as to why Derrek didn't play today:
  13. 94-85 the final after the meaningless three by Rose. That stuff by Deng on the breakaway and then the alleyoop to Tyson at the other end had to have been the best sequence of the game.
  14. BRUTAL 4th quarter, which has included a 13-4 run by Toronto. Their 20-point lead, which was down to 8, not stands at just 9 with 2:00 left. They scored 40 points in the 2nd quarter, and just 6 points in the first 7 minutes of the 4th. Great play by Tyson. Now 93-82.
  15. No word on when he'll be able to get back on the field.
  16. Some more good injury news today:
  17. Hopefully Hinrich's hamstring is okay. He sure was on that bike for a while. And a good game for Harrington. He filled in nicely later in the first half when Curry was resting up.
  18. How 'bout a Scott Williamson update:
  19. Some will check, others won't. They didn't check when I picked them up on the 15th, but you never know.
  20. I'm not sure if those can be thrown indoors. It's possible they could put the mound under a tent or something, though. Sunday's update: Prior threw off the mound today and "felt pretty good." He was "almost pain free," according to Dusty. Kerry feels fine.
  21. This was today, correct (sorry, I'm too lazy to look it up)? Yeah, as was reported on WGN Radio. As you may have noticed, Larry is in Mesa today with Dusty instead of traveling to the other game so he could monitor the throwing sessions before the game.
  22. Kerry threw 48 pitches in the simulated game and threw fastballs, sliders, and changeups. Rothschild was impressed. Prior threw on flat ground and felt better, too.
  23. Wood threw (a simulated game, I believe) today and said he felt great. Actually, he said he felt better than he did before the injury. Prior is still feeling a little discomfort, but the anti-inflammatories are supposedly doing their thing.
  24. Just a brutal loss to the Hornets. Four straight now.
  25. The Bulls are shooting 39%. Chicago and New Jersey exchange 3s to start the 4th. 75-64. Hinrich left the game with a left hamstring strain. He's doubtful to return. But according to Red, Deng looked good shooting before the game and they're hopeful he'll return Saturday night.
