  1. Crawford with the miss, Gordon with the rebound, and the Bulls have homecourt! 92-91 the final. Hinrich with 34, by the way.
  2. Gordon with the 15-footer over Jackson with :05.8 left!
  3. Wow. Crawford misses both FTs. AD with the board, TO called with about 10 seconds left.
  4. Oh my. Down 1 and 13 seconds left, Hinrich inbounds the ball and Chandler commits the offensive foul right away on a pivot.
  5. Strange, strange game. The Bulls overcome a 19-point 3rd quarter deficit to win quite easily 114-105. Duhon was 8 for 9 from beyond the arc, setting a Bulls season high and scoring a career-high 24 points. Hopefully Nocioni is okay, though. He left late in the 4th quarter with an apparent bicep/upper arm injury.
  6. Only a 40-point win. They should have gone for the jugular instead of letting up. Looked like a great game tonight. Seven players in double digits. Three players tied for the team lead with 17 points, Duhon being one of them.
  7. Man. Are the Royals going to suck all year? Having him pitch two to three innings every fourth day or so in a blow out isn't fair.
  8. How many has Griffin missed? I lost count at 3. He's just not very good. I stopped taking math at Calculus. We'll have to call up the same guy (or team) at NASA who calculated Barney's bar tab. The blocked shots, too. Man.
  9. The missed layups have also really been frustrating. Huge 4-point swing right there. That'll probably do it.
  10. No Curry, Deng and Noch. About what I expected even before Tyson got the boot. It's the turnovers that really get to me, though, especially with the defense in the first half. They've been pushing everything from the get go and haven't been able to set up very much. I don't recall who went down, but Tyson "stomp kicked" the guy in the stomach/groin area. I don't think any contact was made because there was no reaction to the kick from him, but the ref tossed him immediately.
  11. Still embarrassing. They had the deficit down to 7 shortly before the end of the first half but managed to let that slip to 14 at the break. They're down 21 after 3. Hopefully Chandler won't get a suspension. It looked to me like a phantom kick. Real bad judgement by Tyson, though. The inside game on both sides has been brutal tonight.
  12. This is downright embarrassing. 20-6 Wizards.
  13. Nocioni has been suspsended one game for an elbow and will miss Wednesday night's nationally televised game: ChicagoSports.com
  14. The Bulls open up the overtime period with an 8-0 run but blow it. Way too many turnovers.
  15. That's what my wife the physical therapist has told me. I found that out first hand over spring break. I mostly tore a ligament in my ankle and it was diagnosed as a sprain. It's still painful at times and swollen and that was three weeks ago. Of course, Todd may be a little more motivated to rehab that knee than I am my ankle.
  16. It's still a tough loss, especially with Hairston's HR swing that he had in Mesa and the wind at Wrigley, but it's a sigh of relief that they think he'll only miss a month. Hopefully Dusty can sit down Jerry and remind him once again that his job is to get on base. On the bright side, we may finally see some stolen bases with Hairston and Patterson at the top of the order. Corey's not the guy you want swinging away on a hit and run all that often. The Fontenot call-up surprises me a bit.
  17. :sunny: Things are looking up. :sunny: Yup. One correction: The decision will be announced tomorrow.
  18. Prior threw a side session today. 30 pitches and supposedly looked good. Mark said he felt real good. Expect a decision on Tuesday's start later today. Borowski played toss with Mark O'Neal today. Things are looking good.
  19. Good news and bad news prior to the game. Good news: Tyson Chandler isn't wearing an eye patch Bad news: Tyson Chandler isn't wearing an eye patch
  20. Yeah. That's the one downside of having them mailed from out in california (tickets.com) instead of having them printed at the ticket office. That's one of the reasons I often just do will call if I can. No, there's no specific window that you have to pick them up from. Unlike other teams, the Cubs have all of the windows equiped with computers and they print them out on the spot. And yeah, you can pick them up at any time.
  21. I'd imagine that orders would have already been cancelled if they were going to cancel them.
  22. Borowski's latest x-rays showed just about no sign of the break. The only thing was there was a calcium deposit from, supposedly, all of the milk he was drinking. He could start throwing as early as Monday.
  23. Well, they might. As Serena said, definitely have him call up the Cubs and arrange them to be under your name. If you want to pick up all of the tickets tomorrow, you may also want to get your Dad to make a photocopy of his driver's license and credit card for you. But ask the Cubs and see what they have to say first.
  24. I was just about to say that. Maddux should be pitching so if you can pull bleacher tickets, there is a good shot at a souvinier ;) Sadly, no bleacher tickets available. The wind shouldn't be much of a factor, so maybe some lawn chairs on Waveland or Sheffield may be the better spot for some free baseballs. Looks like they even have 4 very good seats together. You won't find 4 all that often.
