The only replay that Fox ran showed the ball between his legs as he was going down, but you couldn't see when it came out. His team obviously told him that it came out and he challenged it. How about burning a timeout by not having the right personnel out there for a field goal? It was clear live, it was clear on the replay, and the bears wouldn't have gotten the ball even if they had called it a fumble. There was no clear replay. The only one they showed was from behind the runner. And the Bears did recover it. Yes, they recovered it after the whistle, so it didn't matter. Lovie made sure with the refs that it was reviewable. He was going over it with them for about 30 seconds before they made they said it was being challenged. If there was a whistle, the refs wouldn't have reviewed it. Now this is a questionable challenge.
