    Bah, it's about four seconds behind. It usually catches up, though.

    I guarantee it will be. While toggling radio stations trying to find the Panthers game today, I found a Colts feed where the ref was announcing a penalty. On TV, the play the flag was thrown on was just beginning. WBBM tries to sync it up. This year, the games on Fox have been pretty close, though it varies. Seattle will start with the ball.

    That's what I'm worried about. If MacPhail is just being replaced by someone from the same inept organization (at least in the short term) can we really expect the sweeping changes that this club seems to need? Maybe McDonough really will make an effort to shake things up and get the organizational philosophy straightened out, but the fact that he's been around for a while doesn't give me a lot of hope that things this move will do much for the Cubs over the next couple years. McDonough is probably the closest person to MacPhail as one could get aside from Hendry. His role will be pretty similar to what MacPhail's was. Even when talking about the managing position, they're going out of their way to avoid saying Dusty's name.

    Or at least the off-season. FitzSimmons is avoiding talking about a timeline. Has tremendous faith in Hendry...

    FitzSimmons is making it sound like McDonough is going to be interim president for a year.

    Andy will still hang around for certain things (namely commitments he has in dealing with the league), but will not be around for day-to-day operations.
