Perhaps Singleton really sucked at speaking Japanese and Matsui let him know through his interpretor. Maybe Matsui fully recognizes that he sucks at speaking English and never attempts that foreign language, unlike Singleton. Double standard not found. -

During BP, Chipper Jones hit a ball straight up, it hit the crossbar, and ricocheted right into his left eye. It's being called a left eye contusion and he's scratched from the lineup today. Wow ... the Braves horrible luck continues.

Didnt get to watch the whole game. What happened with the ump? He was too fat to move himself out of the way of an Edmonds liner. Men were on 1st and 2nd, so instead of a run scoring on a line drive, we got bases loaded. EPatt singled later on in the inning, which would have scored the tying run.

It still so much better than it being the Yankees though. To me, no it's not. And Papelbon's a punk. For the past 10 yrs, the Red Sox have treated the Rays as their punching bags, and when the Rays finally stand up for themselves, Papelbon doesn't like it? Paplebon's a punk. Hey Jon, it was YOUR team that started. The Rays just ended it. One thing for sure, the Rays are inside the Red Sox heads. Plus the Red Sox came off as the arrogant bully, that needs to be put down. I am hoping the Rays can win that division so that both the Red Sox and the Yankees are at home watching the playoffs. Both the bottomline is this....Boston is a douchebag city, with douchebag fans, and idiots players. Boston is a beautiful city in the summertime. Just walk along the Charles RIver and you'll see what I'm talking about. Boston fans are as dedicated to their team as Cubs fans, if not more so. I think their players wear the term "idiots" with pride. Think of 2004.

DeRosa as an All Star? I don't know about that. I think the only two positions where the Cubs shouldn't get all star consideration is 2B and CF.
