  2. Surprised Mike Zimmer didn't kick the field goal there...
  3. geez how many WRs do the vikings have
  4. lol when you're down 35 in the 4th quarter, i guess why not kick the fg
  5. Winning margins on TNF this year: 20 20 42 31 42 (so far)
  6. alright that should be it for the first teamers tolzien/harris time
  7. Why not just see what Harnish has?
  8. For some reason I'm rooting for Ponder to have a good drive
  9. lol peppers with the lambeau leap
  10. I bet you're the type of guy who bets black on Roulette when it comes up red 5 times in a row. Only the chances of hitting a HR at QB are far, far less than 47.3% Very true, but my point is that the fact that the Packers have hit jackpot 2 QBs in a row is independent of whether or not they hit jackpot on their next QB.
  11. Um, where's Lacy?

  13. You could plan out the season so it ends on the appropriate day to accommodate whatever playoff format you want. uhhhhhhh, what the ever loving F are you talking about? Sorry if I wasn't being clear. Currently the regular season ends on a Sunday. If my idea were to be implemented, the regular season would have to end on Wednesday or Thursday. You just have to schedule the season so that happens.
  14. This game is already over. You know, objectively, this isn't all Ponder's fault. He just doesn't have any time in the pocket at all.
  15. The chances of the favored team winning a 3 game series can be up to 12.5% more than a 1 game series. Why is the goal to make it easier for the favorite? The goal isn't to make it easier for the favorite. It's to determine the best team. A multiple game series, while still imperfect, will better help determine which of 2 teams is better. Ask yourself this: What's a better format for truly determining the best team in the league/country? The NCAA tournament or the NBA playoffs?

  18. Weird, I think it's tolerable cause it pits 2 good teams against each other. My idea is to have a "wild card weekend" of a best of 3 series between the 4 wild card teams at a neutral location. Double headers on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (if necessary).
  19. They should expand the wild card series to 3 or 5 games.
  20. Whenever you get the chance to let Thomas Morstead throw the ball instead of Drew Brees, you have to take that chance.
  21. Sweeeet this would mean Packers/Miami would be broadcast on FOX in the Chicago market.
  22. Lots of 72 and 74 guesses, but no 73.
  23. lol someone fact check this: Bulls/Bucks Cubs/Brewers Bears/Packers White Sox/Brewers Since 1994: 232-232. This game is the tiebreaker.
  24. I just don't get this rule. What's the advantage the Bears gain for throwing a challenge flag? It doesn't waste time since you're reviewing the play anyways.
  25. that was incredible Yeah, but it did seem like if it wasn't for that hold, Rodgers would have been sacked. So at least I can take some comfort knowing the penalty actually mattered for that play. Yeah must be nice cheering for a lucky team. Evens out with the Cubs, or something
