  1. Anybody think that Ryan Braun's wide eyes looks like Tyler Hansbrough? I knew there was a reason I hated him.
  2. Blackhawks goal 16 seconds in! LOL, for some reason I had a feeling that was going to happen.
  3. I do agree with moving Lee, but I wouldnt consider Bradleys 1-11 tearing the cover off the ball. He's probably the most impressive 1-11 hitter I've ever seen.
  4. Apparently, ESPN running a NASCAR promo with drivers talking about the thrill of the crash immediately after breaking the Adenhart news isn't insulting enough. Yesterday, they posed this question to the Sportsnation: http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/deadspin/2009/04/espnpoll01.jpg
  5. Yay!!! Anyway the Celtics, Cavs or Magic don't sweep them? The Bulls will win one playoff game. That's it. Since Feb 22nd, the day of the Salmons and Miller's first game, the Bulls are +4. Boston and Orlando are both +9 during that span. I don't think we'll win the series, but it's certainly possible the Bulls make it interesting.
  6. If you listen to him too much, it'll get tiring. He does everything by himself. You kinda wish he had a color man.
  7. You think our players have a better chance to score runs when down late as opposed to being up late?
  8. Calm down guys. We're a good team. When other teams need walk off hits to beat you, you know you are a good team. It was like this last year ... most of our losses were close and tight with a play here or there that can change the game completely. I like other teams having to scratch and claw to eke out a win against you, since it means you are tough to beat.
  9. I heard that this morning on The Score and thought it was the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. What's Wise's OBP compared to Bradley's?
  10. Milton's body is not any more or less fragile than any other player. So he got hit in the back by a pitch, tripped going over first base, and dove for a ball in the outfield ... that stuff happens ALL THE TIME in baseball, practically nobody gets hurt afterwards.
  11. How is Dewayne Wise not on that list?
  12. Yes. Much, much worse. do people forget that he was pretty good in his time spent here? barrett that is. .287, 16, 65 in '04, .276, 16, 61 in '05, .307, 16, 53 in '06 defensive wise, he was bad but he was pretty decent offensively. Plus, he punched AJ.
  13. A female was driving the car; it wasn't an Evo. Perhaps a Spyder?
  14. I liked his reaction on the shot down the 1b line that should have been called fair. For those who didn't see it. He threw his hands up but quickly turned around and walked back to the plate. (and Lou then gave the ump an earfull from the dugout). Milton ended up walking and when he did he flipped his bat so hard i'm pretty sure it could have been used as an airplane propeller. I'm pretty sure that bat flip was the reason he tore his ACL two years ago.
  15. Who cares... pointless game. Sucks the Hawks were forced to lose in the pointless shootout (the stupidest thing to ever occur in sports). It's like the Cubs being tied after the 9th and being forced to go to a home run derby. Sucks the Hawks got another fake loss. GO CUBS! Hawks clinch 4th seed with their point tonight right?
  16. Bradley with a BA of .000 and a OBP of .333.
  17. The ball magically crossed first base foul but then it landed fair past it. Folks, it's the magical ball that defies physics!
  18. So ... quite the performance by NYY starters so far, wouldn't you say?
