  2. I remember on the first game last year we scored like 14 runs. I was like " damn, we have an offense, were going to be good this year" Boy, was I wrong..Well it actually was going all good until DLee got hurt..I still can't beleive opening day is only 3 days away..Its just to hard to beleive after this long and exciting offseason.
  3. I know! Sullivan is such a tool. Given his looks, I think troll is a better description for him actually. Who wouldn't be pissed/bitter at being sent down to the minors? I'd be ticked if he just shrugged his shoulders about it. Yea that guy definelty is a squid.
  4. I didn't know she had a, umm very deep voice for a woman.
  5. Prior is pissed. http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/cubs/cs-070329prior,1,3556410.story?coll=cs-home-headlines "I'm not going down that road," he said. "I'm under their control until I'm not under their control. It's up to them whether they want me. I'm just an employee." Prior doesn't become a free agent until after the 2008 season, and does not have enough service time to prevent the Cubs from sending him to Iowa. He called himself an employee several times during a session with reporters, suggesting he doesn't believe he has a long-term future with the Cubs. "Look, I'm a controlled player," he said. "There's nothing I can do with what their decisions are, so I'm not going to sit there and fight it. I don't really have a whole lot of control, and until you get in a position where you have any leverage, then maybe you can argue and try to find out what other options there are. "When there are no other options, and they've made a decision, you accept it, move on, and I'm going to play ball." Asked if the demotion has changed his opinion of the organization, Prior mentioned his teammates while avoiding answering the question.
  6. Random question...is that Paris Hilton in your avatar? If it is, she makes me sad. Hah yes it is. Booooooooooooooooooooooo. That's kind of funny, I was going to ask the same thing earlier, and have the same exact response. She's... yuck. I got rid of Paris and put up one of my wife. :)

  8. MLBtraderumors.com Gordon Wittenmyer of the Chicago Sun-Times says the Cubs spoke with Carlos Zambrano's agent yesterday, and they'll talk more this week regarding a contract extension. Wittenmyer expects the five-year deal to include the $12.4MM he's making this year and come in around $75-85MM total. Pure speculation, but Buster Olney believes the Cubs could announce a Zambrano extension on Opening Day (Monday) to create some positive vibes to start the season. Olney is thinking five years, $85MM - the top end of Wittenmyer's range. At this point, it seems highly unlikely that no agreement is reached by Opening Day. Sorry, Mets fans
