    I don't think many of our past managers would have the balls to do this. Back when Hendry was around they were always worried about hurting a guys feelings and ego and tried to be all buddy buddy with certain players and would never do this . I love the we don't give a [expletive], this is business, and we will do whatever it takes to win/putting the best talent out there attitude that Maddon and this FO has.

    The shoulder inflamation thing for Soriano has to be complete BS...It's gotta be the FO and scouting saying " Umm yea, we made a complete mistake with this dude and let's just do this instead of DFA this guy right away so we save ourselves the embarassment"

    Yeaaaaa I'm kinda worried also about a guy who tops out at 88mph and a fly ball pitcher and needs to have pin point control. Especially against a lineup like the Pirates.

    Matchup on paper with Arrieta against this bum says we should win this. But then again, didn't we lose one like this last time that looked like an easy win because of the matchup? I think it was Lester vs Jerome Williams. Lets win this Cubs!
