He said that prior to the game, yes. At least, Len and Bob said that he said that before the game... Thanks. I thought I heard them say that but I wasn't sure. ...er, he's warming up as I type this. Guess that answers my question.
I'm not the one who brought homer announcers into the discussion. That would be me. Because you're announcers fail to do their job when they are down in a game. And I conceded the point and stated an opinion of my own, and then everyone got overly-defensive. Let's drop it. This is going nowhere.
Unfortunately my FSN is blacked out here so I can only listen to the the commentators on "Superhomer: WGN." Len and Bob aren't homers. I think they are, but we're not going to get anywhere arguing this so I'll stop.
Wow, I just got done watching the tape of the game. That was really exciting and entertaining. I guess the best we can do now is play spoliers! A sweep was pretty much required. Here's to an entertaining final three games of the series. 8-)
If they didn't play the Brewers three times and the Cubs four, I would give up hope. So until they're mathematically eliminated, I'll continue watching and hoping that they can somehow squeak into the playoffs in what can only be described as an absolutely pathetic division.
Well, I'll see you guys Saturday. I gotta work every night till then so I prolly won't be giving updates in the Other Games threads or anything. It was fun. See ya.
