  1. Neither do they.
  2. Just about everyone on the market was meh...I think expectations were set a touch high.

  4. I'm fine with Harvey depending on the price.
  5. LOL Levine.. [tweet] [/tweet] [tweet] [/tweet]
  6. He's not going anywhere. The Nats are gonna hold out for too much. I think they're just doing this so they can tell fans "well we tried". Is there really anything to gain from making a show of trying to trade away your franchise player? I just feel like if they were really gonna trade him, they'd have started this last week or something...let some bidders really push the price higher. Putting him on the block this late, with a huge price tag...it just doesn't feel very serious. I'll probably be proven wrong in a few hours....I'm terrible about trade predictions.
  7. Meh, Bob's wrong plenty. I'd rather he be right this time.

  9. Signing him didn't work out, but this is the right move at this point.
  10. A quick google search shows that it's happening on at least one other forum. https://syracusefan.com/threads/tweets-are-no-longer-fitting-the-screen-on-mobile.132434/
  11. lol, I was thinking of doing something similar with Lou Diamond Phillips head on Chavez.
  12. Someone on reddit posted this link, and man is it handy. https://baseball.theater
  13. Schwarber for sure. The difference with Bote is that he's had zero hype whatsoever in the minors. Maybe some of the minor league forum nerds knew him, but most of us probably had little to know idea that he existed before these AB's.
  14. What happened to Lamb?

  16. Gave up LHP Kodi Medeiros and RHP Wilber Pérez.
  17. Primo Heyman tweet. "Team X is gonna trade player Y. Could be to team Z, but maybe not."

  19. Good point by Sahadev. https://theathletic.com/446030/2018/07/25/the-cubs-sit-atop-the-national-league-but-the-view-could-be-better/
  20. There's a lot more talk about this in the last couple of days. At least from media arguing whether they should or shouldn't. No real rumors or anything. I still think for whatever reason, the Nationals chances of resigning him lessen if they trade him. It does occasionally happen but for every Chapman there are a few Lester situations where the incumbent team trades their guy with plans to resign him in the offseason and he goes elsewhere. With that said, I think by keeping him the chances of them resigning him are worth more than whatever return they can get for 2 months of him. I guess it depends on if they think they have a good chance of re-signing him. I think he's probably gone, regardless. I have nothing to back up this opinion.
