  1. I think there's a massive difference there. One an unproven off the field accusation that's being pretty vehemently denied. The other is an in-game program for injuring other players, under a commissioner that has made reducing injury a major focus of his "administration".
  2. You don't let him in the building or let him make any moves, or have any conversations with personel. So does he get to work between now and the opening game?
  3. How do you suspend a GM for 8 games? I'm not sure how that works.
  4. I used to like Pompei at one point. Was I insane?
  5. So apparently this is a year old, but first time I've seen it, so I'll share. http://i.imgur.com/vvt0M.gif
  6. The Broncos were a decent team with a horrible QB. They needed to move on and develop a real QB, but that couldn't happen with the neanderthals demanding more Tebow. They play in the worst division in football and can easily dominate it next year with quality QB play. Manning gives them that chance. It's the easiest road to the playoffs for Peyton. If he can't hack it and falls apart quickly, then it wouldn't have worked for anybody, so you aren't making much of a point. This way, they can draft somebody this year and hope to get 2 years out of Manning. Plus, they can play a real offense and develop the other 10 players in the unit instead of dumbing it down to junior high level stuff that is centered around a one dimensional hack. That explains why they were so good with Kyle Orton. Kyle Orton isn't a quality QB. Whether he is or he isn't, they were near the top of the league in passing yards per game when he was QB.
  7. I don't normally wish for injury to anyone, but if Tebow ends up in GB, I might just have to pray for Rodgers injury. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/03/20/green-bay-floated-as-a-tim-tebow-destination/

  9. The one thing CJ has been good at pretty consistently this season is the 3pt shot. He's at 41.7%.
  10. Today is the 17th anniversary of MJ's first game back from his baseball stint.
  11. Rose out again tonight. Groin is "tight still".
  12. I think the Patriots thing is just someone saying "Oh hey, McDaniels is there....lets start a rumor." I bet he ends up back in Florida....either Miami or Tampa.
  13. VETERAN PRESENCE!
  14. To me, that list of teams looks like a "Teams Derek Fisher hopes want him" list.
  15. I'd definitely be down for bringing Fisher aboard if he clears. Rose, Watson, Lucas, James....why do we need Fisher?
  16. Looks like Royal is about to sign with the Chargers.
  17. Weren't the Cavs the biggest complainer leading to the veto of the Chris Paul trade?
  18. Carlos Boozer is the same corpse that he's always been.
  19. Comcast Sports Net....bringing the din of the bar fanboys straight to your living room!
  20. I'm fine with the color guy being a homer. The play by play guy should be more fair though, imo. It's my main problem with Funk. He thinks the Bulls are never ever at fault for anything, ever. Hell, King is more objective than Funk is a lot of times.
