  1. walterfootball.com also has a 2013 draft up. http://walterfootball.com/draft2013.php
  2. shaq is unbearable. it's always cringe worthy when he gets his own segments. "diesel's dunks of the week" and all that stuff where he just yells obnoxious things for 3 minutes. Yeah I hope they get him off that show. Just keep Ernie, Kenny and Chuck. If you wanna get Webber on there, I wouldn't object.
  3. From the sounds of it there was some serious off field issues preventing him from being drafted. Biggs sort of spelled it out that the guy probably won't make team. Bummer. Simply amazing that so many guys leave tons of money on the table due to off field issues. A chance to work for 8-10 years and retire comfortably for the rest of your life or asking if you want fries with that seems like it would make these kids stay out of trouble. That has to be a tough pill to swallow several years from now when they are still dealing with those off field issues that kept them from getting drafted at all, and you know you had the talent to start on just about any NFL team had you kept your nose clean. On a happier note, someone stepping aside for off field issues is making someone else's life much better for at least a little while. These guys are still college kids, and college kids are, by and large, stupid.
  4. Brad Biggs appears to be guessing the Chris Williams may move to tackle. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/football/bears/chi-ten-thoughts-on-the-bears-draft-20120430,0,6777573.story?page=2 Also on the next page of the same article, when Tice is defending Webb, you can see where he's getting some Martz digs in there...
  5. I thought it was 4-6 months for some reason. So he probably won't miss half the season. But assuming he has surgery in August, he's probably not back until December. The early part of next year is gonna be rough, but if we have Hamilton, Boozer and Noah healthy, we should be able to tread water during the early season monotony.
  6. If he requires surgery, is would take 3-4 months to recover, according to this article, as it took him about 4 months to recover from a similar injury his rookie year. http://www.chicagonow.com/chicago-bulls-confidential/2012/01/will-deng-postpone-surgery-until-after-olympics-of-course-as-he-should/

  8. Welcome to the board! Protip though...it's not necessary to sign forum posts. :)
  9. Ok, I'll be contrarian. I don't know that the Bulls can beat the Heat in a 7 game series without Rose, but I do think it can be competitive. We have two series to finish before we get there, but I'll say that if the Bulls get to the ECF, they play more than the 5 games they did last year.
  10. I didn't even think about flipping over to ESPN during the draft. The Eisen/Davis/Mayock crew was really good throughout the draft. The cellphone thing you mentioned was pretty funny. But on the first night they had Deion and Irvin. Of course ESPN had Berman so I was flipping. Plus I still love me some Mel. Anyone catch the "Mel Facts" at the end of the 7th round? He's never had an ATM card, never written a check (straight cash homey) and every morning he eats pumpkin pie with fat free whipped cream but doesn't eat the crust. Well Deion was only doing the short little interviews on stage. He really wasn't involved much. They did have Faulk up there, who I think does a great job for a former player turned analyst. I had no interest in turning to ESPN the entire draft.
  11. You're not progressing through the stages of grief as well as we'd like to see.
  12. For me, it was Rich Eisen losing his mind when the Jaguars took a punter in the third round. Rich was funny....there's that, and there was right before the draft began they showed a shot of someone in the green room on a cell phone and he shouted "Is he on a cell phone? CUT AWAY! CUT AWAY!!"
  13. Against Boston? ok.
  14. If anyone besides me is interested Kellen Moore signed as a UDFA with Detroit.
  15. Ricky Rubio said he was gonna be out 6-9 months with his ACL tear.
  16. I blame Adidas.
  17. Avoiding freaking out till we hear more....*sigh*
  18. Korver has really been bankable this season.
  19. Rips didnt for a while and just magically started going in. Itll come.
  20. Pacers/Boston ECF? http://www.cnnsi.com/2012/basketball/nba/04/27/2012.playoff.experts.picks/index.html?sct=nba_t11_a9
  21. Packers are reportly considering trading for Colt McCoy... http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/football/bears/chi-report-packers-consider-deal-for-mccoy-20120427,0,4619319.story
  22. So wait....your "almost picked the Celtics but I was afraid people would yell at me" was assuming both teams at full strength?
  23. meltodowns, ha. i'm not preaching doom. this is still a good team, regardless of the incompetence of the pick. Yeah. Sulley never preaches doom. He's always sunshine and butterflies.
