  2. Neither Watson or Brewer leaving would be a problem for me. I still think Korver is a weapon, despite his obvious flaws.
  3. Big man depth isnt easy to find. And Asik has plenty of room for development. No real offseason hurt him imo. I think they need to keep Korver. We need need that outside threat to keep some of the focus off Rose.
  4. I'm pretty sure that it's just that he's gonna get paid too much by somebody else.
  5. Yeah, that was pretty hilarious. She was definitely heavily under the influence of something. They said after halftime that apparently she's been in some trouble before with stalking some Denver players and has been banned from the arena, though she obviously got in today. Apparently when she walked on the court she said "Where's Kenyon?"
  6. I'd keep a healthy Deng too. And I'm not super attached to Rip. He was doing well with Rose out there, but he's not irreplaceable. I'm not even mad about this series now. I'm just disappointed. If you take the best 2 players off of any team, that team isn't going to play well. Especially when it's your best scorer and your best big man. Boozer....man, I know he was healthy all year, and that he actually had a decent season as a whole, but man, that guy has 2 major flaws that I just can't overlook. One, the dude can't freaking hold on to the basketball. Whether it's catching, dribbling, whatever...he's constantly bumbling and fumbling it. Two, he goes hard to the basket at times when he needs finesse, usually drawing a charge, and when the basket is wide open, he goes soft and gets it blocked. And good lord, every single time that there's a defensive lapse, it's usually cuz Boozer didn't rotate or do something he was supposed to. Last night his rainbow jumper wouldn't go, and that'll happen. That's usually his best weapon though. But those other things drive me absolutely nuts. There's no realistic way to get rid of him, but it drives me insane to watch him.
  7. Lucas isn't really a "cut to the basket" scorer though. Neither is CJ. They're shooters. Deng and Hamilton are the only guys that really can get any penetration at all. Pretty much. Deng moves great without the ball, but he's pretty limited when he has the ball in his hands trying to create his own shot. I think of Rip in the same mold too. He's more of a guy that relies on screens to free himself up to get good looks. The Bulls are severely lacking in guys that can create their own shot. That was extremely evident in the entire second half the other night. Of course, if you play strong D, and hit some of your jumpshots, you can cover up a lot of things against the lower seeds. The Bulls did neither in the 2nd half of game 2.

  9. The [expletive]? Why should he? Because he can't stay healthy and keeps ending up under the knife. When is it enough? He's never going to pitch in the majors again. He has plenty of money. Go live your life, the dream is over. If you get to decide what he does with his life, does he get to decide what you do with yours? No ofcourse not, but Prior can give his opinion what he wants me to do with my life just like I can give my opinion on what he should do with his. If he just likes being around other baseball players in the minors that's cool. But if he thinks he has even a sniff of a chance to make the majors in any way, he's just not being realistic. Guy hasn't piched in the MLB for what, 8+ years? When Mark Prior posts a long rant that you should give up your career because you suck at it/can't perform at the same level you used to, I'll go there and troll the [expletive] out of him. You have my word. I got your back, bro.
  10. The season is meaningless. Get to the playoffs with everybody at 100%. That's the only real goal.
  11. He's missing this. 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966 Boston Celtics What Happened: There were only 7 other teams in the NBA The Footnote: There were only 7 other teams in the NBA The Verdict: There were only 7 other teams in the NBA There were 8 other teams in 62, 63, 64, 65, and 66. I see where you think that totally invalidates his point. I like to deal in facts. Like when referring to all star ballots?
  12. Set up perfectly for Lahair heroics.
  13. Was this Marmol's last shot as closer?
  14. Doesn't wanna chat while pissing? What a jerk! (I know you weren't saying that.)
  15. Haha....go Jay. I don't blame him.
  16. Bill Simmons' column today explains that he thinks the eventual 2012 Champs will have a footnote thanks to Rose's injury, and ranks other "footnote titles". http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/7883334/the-footnote-title
  17. Bears waive S Winston Venable.
  18. Predicting next years playoffs during this years playoffs is not a challenge I'm prepared to take on.
  19. http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/redsox/extras/extra_bases/2012/05/beckett_shelved.html Yeah, there's a thread in transactions about this.
