  1. He was the one largely responsible for a lot of that thought. He wasn't just doping himself, but set up a whole system for cheating throughout the sport. So ultimately, he damaged the sport in a much more significant way than just doping himself.
  2. I disagree with the way tice called the game, instead of pouring it on a blowing the lions out, we stalled and played chicken [expletive] Well Jay was hurt for the entire 2nd half, so that was part of it. I don't think it's a really fair game to judge him from.
  3. Cora is gone with him. Apparently they didn't like that Guillen had delegated lineup responsibilities to Cora. They still owe Guillen $7.5mil over 3 years.
  4. Well, this is a pretty good place to start questioning Bush. Maybe UK is just really hard to get along with. :)
  5. ROFL This guy is barely containing his Cutler dislike. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/chicago-bears-beat-detroit-lions-13-7-jay-cutler-plays-like-leader-qb-team-needs-we-have-seen-him-do-this-before-102212

  8. Reminder: Bears will wear throwbacks this Sunday.
  9. The objective rankings love the Bears.
  10. Wrong. Briggs or bust. Tillman should be a probowler again though. Nah, Tillman has a much better chance. He's getting a lot of recognition for his ball punching abilities this year, along with the 2 picks for scores and his coverage of Megatron now, he's just done a lot more things to get national attention. Not belittling what Briggs has done, but I don't see him getting in that conversation without some more high profile plays. Between Tillman and Briggs, I think Briggs is going to end up making more big plays before the year is up. I see he and Tillman were on equal ground until last nights game. You're right that Tillman is going to pull ahead and get a lot of love with the way he shut down Johnson. I think long term it is going to be Briggs if it's anyone from the Bears... and deservedly so. I love what Tillman is doing, but Briggs is truely having a DPOY year. He is pretty much completely negating the decline in play from Urlacher. It's a shame he isn't getting more recognition for that. Except that Urlacher is playing much better as the season goes on. He had a pretty strong game last night. He can't run to the sidelines like he used to, but he was moving down the line, making tackles and blocked a pass last night. I just don't think Briggs will be forced to have to do all the work as the year goes on.
  11. Yeah, Watt is probably the leading contender at the moment.

  13. Jay ends the show saying zero percent chance he misses the Carolina game, unless they don't let him in the stadium.
  14. Haha...nothing significant info wise coming from this show, but man is Jay hilarious.
  15. Gifs are fine. Sigs suck, and I have those disabled.
  16. Cutler's on his radio show now. Said he knows he'll be ok and should be good to go by Thursday. Said he thought it was a clean hit, Suh just caught him right.
  17. I'm pretty sure it's just his association with Jim Hendry. That's kinda what I've figured so far. Did you ever read anything that said he was good at his job? That he got a 3 year extension?
  18. I've seen them anywhere from #2 to #6 on various rankings this morning.
  19. Maybe they just want the conflicting point of view so it's not quite an echo chamber? I'm grasping...
  20. Still can't believe they didn't run Bush in three plays on the goal line Jim Miller just said on the radio that he thinks at least one of those was Jay calling an audible to a slant. But he said he has no inside knowledge, just his thought.
  21. Garza, Carimi and Rachal were all bad. Webb is currently the best OL on the team and he's not even average. It's so glaringly obvious how the Bears offense is all about the talented skill position players trying to make do with completely incompetent lineman (not to mention a dullard as OC). You watch them operate and it's surprising they don't score more, but the line is constantly getting penalized and ruining drives when they just flat out aren't blocking. I didn't think Tice did too bad last night. Did a good job calling plays to get us out of the shadow of our own goalposts a few times. I think if Cutler wasn't hurt, the Bears probably would've added a TD or two in the second half. But as Jay admitted, the injury limited playcalling.
  22. What's with Hester fair catching so much? He made some really bad decisions last night on punt returns. As bad as Carimi was on the O-line last night, Garza was possibly worse. He got beat a lot, not to mention false starts...on the center!!
  23. First 3 games for Cutler: 3 TD's 6 Int's Next 3 games for Cutler: 5 TD's 1 Int Also, 4 of those picks were in the Packers game.
  24. That is an absurd interpretation of how the announcers were calling the game. Gruden was creaming his pants over the Bears. Yeah, they were just saying it was unusual, and was daring the Lions to run. Which explains why the Bears gave up more running yards than they usually do. I fully expect the Bears to get back to shutting down the run after this.
  25. I was thinking there was a rule about this when I saw the play last night... Of course there was absolutely no way for the umps to see that at full speed. Gotta root for the Giants now.
