I've heard that Toub is a great football mind. Not sure where I heard that, or if it's true, but I like to think it is. Could be, but I'd rather not go from Lovie Smith, to one of his assistants. New blood, thx :) One of the internet theories out there is that all these interviews are to have a baseline to compare Toub to. That would suck. If Toub is the guy then my assumption is the defensive staff stays intact, and Bates would almost certainly stay around, meaning very little new blood on the offensive staff. This organization desperately needs new blood. Agreed. Dan Bernstein has been saying that he's heard there's 2 candidates that Emery really likes, but that he's going in to all the interviews open minded, willing to be wow'd.
