  1. Okay I was wondering if it was just my tv. Lucky to get out of that period alive. Crow did his job. Offense needs to wake up. They were fine without Sharp, but not having Hoss is noticeable. Comcast does road hawks/bulls games using an old ham radio and on of those new fangled moving picture boxes.
  2. Hes got the buzz right now.
  3. Everyone looks slow on that ice. Except Toews.
  4. Comcast with the standard shitty sound.
  5. That's where I come down on this. Just leave gracefully. Does he really have to play the victim? Hes always been prone to emotional media tantrums.
  6. Hawks playing really sloppy.
  7. And now Miami is up. [expletive] you, Cavs.
  8. What?? Since he's not very good at being a defensive end, might as well get something out of this draft pick. You stated it as a fact that Emery said that. It was just missing the BREAKING NEWS alert in front of it. Did you miss the part where I said "at least I wouldn't be surprised"? That means I wasn't stating a fact. That was the confusing part, because the first sentence read as a fact. My reading wasn't the issue.
  9. It's like the Avalanche trouncing the Blackhawks. It's due to be a bad team that ends these things.

  11. And now Breer says the Urlacher hasn't shut the door on coming back to Chicago.
  12. Urlacher says the offer was a slap in the face. Love you Brian, but grow up. Its a business.
  13. Right move but still sucks a lot. Rev up the "Shea to LB" train.
  14. Ok, so we still need a nickelback, 2 LBs, and at least 1 Guard with a limited amount of cap space. Hopefully some of that will be addressed via the draft, and I'm still waiting to see if they restructure Hester. He's getting paid an awful lot to just be a returner. Yeah no doubt the draft will give us some of those players, but to rely on rookies to anchor some of those spots is risky business. What sucks is the Hardin pick and E-Rod pick last year didn't shore up any of the need positions. Yeah, well who knew that safety would suddenly become a position of relative strength. I still have some hope that Hardin can be decent.

  16. Q confirms, Hossa out, Carcillo in. Kane likely to do more doubleshifting.
  17. Crawford in goal tonight.
  18. Hossa not on the ice for morning skate.
  19. Bears sign him to a one year deal. Bye Izzy. And McBride is not that good. McBride as backup, Mcclellan starter? Sadly I doubt Shea can be much of a starter in the NFL. Unless he develops a lot of strength and bulk, he's basically a speed rusher limited to passing downs and a 3rd DE role on the roster, which is why I have and will still criticize him being chosen in the first round. Yeah yeah, I know. You've hated that pick since before he played a down. But I'd certainly think that Emery would want his first 1st round pick to a starter at some point.

  22. I don't think you understand the rule. Walter stiff armed quite a bit. He also used huge shoulder pads and led with those shoulders very often, but I don't recall him leading with the helmet much. Unfortunately the NFL spent years allowing lots of players to play recklessly and younger players saw that, and kept doing it more and more, which makes it difficult to get rid of that stuff by rules now. I think there's a lot of confusion about the rule right now, for sure.
  23. @JoeGryffindor "@profootballtalk local buzz here in Arizona is that NFL directed coaches not to bed-mouth the new helmet rule." Of course they did.
