  4. Raiders trade Carson Palmer to the Cardinals for a conditional 7th round pick. The condition is that Palmer starts 13 games for the Cards in 2013.

  6. Those weren't good goals, but Emery is much, much slower laterally. Good teams will exploit that. Crawford is just better than Emery. What is it about Chicago that we question our QB's and goalies? But like I said earlier, it seems Crawford gives up a lot of those dumb goals. I think it probably balances it out in the end.
  7. lol
  8. Crawford allows more dumb goals than Emery, imo.
  9. That goal was...unusual.
  10. I dont think Kane was even looking at the net. He looked at Toews all the way.
  11. Who is the color guy tonight. Not Conroyd is it? Edit: I guess it is. Sounds deeper voiced than usual.
  12. Hmmm, I wonder why?
  13. I find it very hard to believe that in a given offseason there's not a single average QB in either FA or the draft. By definition, half of starting QB's are below average each year. An above average QB is extremely difficult to find. That's why they get paid a lot. So any QB whose teams wins a Super Bowl can ask for and receive one of the largest contracts in the NFL? If they are an average QB, and they win a Super Bowl going into their contract year, the answer is almost always, yes. I just don't understand paying guys for being "winners" rather than based upon performance. Isn't winning part of performance?
  14. On Shark's first start of the year last year, 4/8, he threw 110 pitches.
  15. 110 is exactly where he ended up after that inning.
  16. Gonzalez replaces Lillibridge at 2nd.
  17. It stops when there's better options. Only halfway competent ones that win the Super Bowl. No, because he doesn't have the "SB Winning QB" accolade to flaunt, but he'll probably get a pretty nice paycheck, cuz they're the Chiefs, and they have no other QB options.
