Yeah, a bit of spin there to make it sound like it was completely his idea, but still...definite HoFer, and will be one of the long remembered, great Bears. -

He was a 6th rounder in 2010, picked by the Rams. The Bears are his 6th team, counting practice squads. He's played in 4 NFL games, with 3 of those coming in his rookie year (2 receptions for 15yds), 1 game in his 2nd year, and none last year. I sincerely hope that he doesn't have a significant role on this team. -

They're trying to make the NFL calendar more year round. They'd move free agency up, move the draft back, and stick the combine in between. Also there's a conflict with Radio City Music Hall for next year...Rockettes or something. So this could be a "trial" thing...may only be for next year.

Kyle Long signed a 4 year deal with a club option for a 5th. All draft picks signed. -
