  1. As far as this week goes, I think we have a real chance to hurt the Packers this week. If the Packers go to 1-3 with 2 division losses and a "lucky" win against the Jets to start the season, I can really see the fanbase getting down on this team. I really, really want to win this week.
  2. You're right. We should look at it as we did when the schedule came out in July. Not as teams that have greatly struggled in 2/3 of the actual games played so far. Yeah I don't know that we can tell who's good and who's not at this point. The only two 3-0 teams are teams we don't play this season. The two arguably best 2-1 teams, Seattle and Denver, we don't play this season. I don't think we can really determine if we have a tough schedule or not.
  3. Maybe it's just Mel Tucker's mystifying defensive schemes that are confusing QB's!!
  4. I didn't notice him very much at all.
  5. Yeah, these grades still have me scratching my head. Allen did great in the 4th quarter, but seems like to get a grade that good you should have to have a good entire game.
  6. Hub is concerned about the run game. http://www.chicagofootball.com/2014/09/23/arkush-bears-doing-just-enough-to-win/aq1c7hg/
  7. Yeah, if you were gonna sit him, sitting him against an AFC team on the road seems to be the right time, not a division game at home.
  8. Not yet. Should be soon, probably. Will post when I see them on Reddit.
  9. That's only if you count the Bills OT score. Sure, but not sure why you wouldn't. Either way, the no 2nd half TD's thing stands, which is the real meat of it.
  10. Also, I heard last night that the number was 15 second half points... EDIT: Confirmed...15 second half points when you count the Bills OT FG.
  11. you stole my thunder! I said that last night. Last year was the first year in Bears history that they failed to hold an opponent under 20 points. I read that from Banedon and thought, "already mentioned, but worth repeating!" Ah...whoops. Missed that.
  12. First time since 2012 the Bears held a team under 20 pts.
  13. Fuller vs Jordy Nelson...that oughta be interesting.
  14. Was it him or Fuller that ended up touching it out of bounds? DJ Williams should have recovered the fumble in bounds but one of those 2 got to it first...not a very heads up play. Fuller I will not attack Fuller because he's awesome and the best player ever but that and the running out of the end zone after the int [-X Oh god yeah that run-out, why why why? Rookie excitement. Rookies do dumb things.
  15. I will say this for the running game. 1) It was probably not a huge part of the playbook to begin with, given our struggles with running the ball so far, and the Jets being a very good run stopping defense. But also, 2) once Fiametta left due to injury, they probably abandoned even more of the run game. They still used Forte with those short over the top dump passes to make up for some of what they weren't getting in the rushing game.
  16. Who gives a [expletive]? They did get jobbed by the refs but it's neither here nor there now. We're banged up and got a win in a tough road environment against a defense that makes games ugly. Don't care at all about quality of victory under the circumstances. I just always enjoy reading opponent reactions. UMFan and I are similar like that.
  17. Looks like Jets fans are really gravitating towards "we would've won if the refs wouldn't have jobbed us".

  19. Brian De La Puente is the top rated center on PFF through 3 weeks.
  20. The Bears have given up only 15 2nd half points this season.

  22. Well I sat him in fantasy this week, so lets shut him down.
  23. For me, it's any non-football injury is potentially laugh-worthy.
  24. Lol Philly. http://www.sbnation.com/lookit/2014/9/22/6827047/eagles-fans-stadium-brawl-video
