I don't keep track of such things, but how often does Rosenthal report something that ends up untrue? Without any research whatsoever, it doesn't seem like it's very often.

Between adding people to the front office and coaches/managers, is it any wonder that Ricketts is called PTR? not sure about PTR, but it is a wonder why you still post here I'm still here waiting for the Cubs to actually spend money on the team instead of more front office positions, additional coaches, and more real estate acquisitions. I guess some of you get excited about all of that stuff, but I'm more into the players on the field. Hey, I'm too lazy to look this up...can you help me out? How many starting pitchers have been signed so far in free agency this year? I mean...are there even any left for the Cubs to sign?
