    Gase has agreed to be the 49ers HC, and it sounds like Raiders are likely to hire Del Rio. EDIT: looks like the Gase report from PFT's twitter was premature.

    Yeah, I brought this up earlier....Long later implied he was being sarcastic, said he was taking a twitter vacation, basically blamed everyone else for misunderstanding, changed his avatar to all black, and changed his name to something like "nothing to see here".

    So are the Bears in danger of having a tampering charge lobbed at them? I would doubt it, but who knows.

    He and Elway didn't get along. And he has a relationship with Accorsi. I just don't get why anyone would be running to the Bears job right now unless money is a factor. The organization is terrible and completely in flux, the roster is old, and they might not have a QB next season because the fans want to run the good QB out of town.

    I do not understand this line. Are they saying Fox asked Elway what his contract status was, or if he had plans to fire him? They seem to be hinting that after the game Fox called somebody involved with the Bears and asked if he could have the job. The way I read it, is that after the game he called someone with the Bears to find out if there was still a chance at that job, and if the Bears were interested. I don't think it means anything is a done deal, just that there's mutual interest.
