  2. I noticed this the other day and I'm ashamed that I neglected to mention it here.
  3. That one is pretty old. She's making fun of someone if I recall correctly.
  4. He's still gonna be working with The Score all the time during the football season. He actually seemed to really get along with everyone involved. I don't think it's a coincidence that this is happening right after the football season ends.
  5. I think the biggest problem with Gasol is that putting Noah out there with him neutralizes everything that Noah does well.
  6. LoHo is doing the 120sports.com thing in the afternoon which prevents him from being able to do midday on the Score. That's how I took Banedon's post. Well we know he's stepping away...he tweeted that he'd explain why today. But I just wonder if it was a voluntary thing because he knew that there were other radio guys looking for work in the wake of The Game going belly up. How on earth could they trust McNeil to even show up on a regular basis at this point?
  7. I don't see any of those guys coming back. Bernstein would spontaneously combust of Kap and/or Haugh got hired and I don't think the executives at the Score trust McNeil to finish any contract he signs. My guess is that Mannelly is stepping down to make room for someone specifically. A radio guy perhaps...that has been in the industry a while and he feels like he's taking some "radio guy's" spot. Ben Finfer maybe?
  8. So Urlacher really didn't like Emery...not that that's news, but he expanded a bit on it today... http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/football/bears/chi-brian-urlacher-phil-emery-20150130-story.html

  10. That sounds like complete conjecture.

  12. Because the Patriots/Belichek have cheated before. If it was the Jaguars or something, nobody would care.
  13. In my mind, Lester is the big dog.... http://i.imgur.com/t3w0qxC.gif
  14. Given the history of the NFL in StL (and the MASSIVE mistakes made re: any big stadia built here in the past 25 years) I agree. But let's not act like the Cubs are on some pedestal of sports professionalism and long-term planning. If it weren't for the GemStar Satellite Group, John Hughes (a Sox fan BTW: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Only_the_Lonely_%28film%29) and Harry, (going back to the first point) where would this franchise be? You might just have easily been fans of the Tampa Bay Cubs, or the Trib would've had to stick up Daley like Jerry did (for a POS pre-Camden Yards stadium somewhere) Or, most likely, the Chicago Brewers. No see, you misunderstand. My comment wasn't a Chicago vs St Louis thing. It was a "St Louis is a [expletive] stain and I hope they screw up all the things" comment.
  15. Yeah, what's with the Harry hate?
  16. Yeah, having a hard time working up much "care" over STL screwing up a stadium for a team they probably won't have anyway.
  17. Watch the crowd.
  18. http://overthecap.com/salary-cap/chicago-bears And here's a calculator to play around with: http://overthecap.com/calculator/chicago-bears/
  19. Rich Campbell thinking the same....
  20. Hasn't actually played in an NFL game.
  21. http://m.mlb.com/news/article/107336002/mlb-network-deems-hanley-top-left-fielder-in-a-tight-race EDIT: I guess they're predicting the best for 2015...not evaluating for 2014, so it's less silly than I originally thought.
  22. Manfred clarifies that it's something they've just talked about. He's much more tolerable to listen to than Selig. http://www.foxsports.com/mlb/video?vid=389453379619
  23. @ThayerEvansSI Former Chicago Bears DC Mel Tucker will be Alabama's new secondary coach per sources.
  24. I'm just saying what Manfred said.
