    Just a thought, but it might be worth pinning this post in Cubs discussions. Just thinking that this info can be easily lost down in this forum section, but if someone was gonna post a rumor...Cubs discussions is gonna be where it's at.

    Google "Keith Law Matt Mervis"...he's been much more consistently negative about him than most.

    I mean it goes without saying this is a desperation move, but this a WILD desperation move. They really think that Wilson is SO bad at catching that it's hurting the pitching staff?

    Late to this conversation, but...I barely watched the Cubs last year. A couple of games, here and there maybe? Paid attention to the result but I just didn't watch much baseball. This year I decided to get the MLB.tv trial to start the season. And...they've kept me interested enough that I bought the season and I'm watching almost every game so far. So, I don't know what my expectations really were, but I'd say they've increased my interest.
