Are you drunk? The Bears can't beat Oakland if Mack and Smith are sitting on Clausen's head repeatedly. The Raiders are on the come up. I would like Goff as our next QB, however I am leaning towards BPA for a top 5 pick. The Bears cant afford anymore busts. Sidenote: Did Emery do anything right? There's a bazillion positions on the field with bad players. If you're gonna have a QB that's surrounded by bad players, why not just keep Cutler for another couple of years while you get things in shape around him? I mean, if there's a home run QB to be gotten, fine. But I just don't wanna force it.

They can't coach up scrubs and this defense is nothing but scrubs. I tend to agree, but there are a ton of young players on this defense, so I'm hoping they can find at least 2-3 pieces that can be on the team going forward. If those guys emerge and the rest get more comfortable with the scheme, they can probably not give up 30 points every game, especially when they are facing offenses that aren't GB or Arizona. Can one of those guys be a fixed Kyle Fuller, please? I just don't think he's very good. I'm not sure fixing is a thing that can be done.

Sure he's not in the clear, but the point is that they can't prove it. I'm just spitballing here....but if Kane said something like "We had some rough sex. She scratched me a bit, I bit her shoulder...that kinda freaked her out and she left...," then unless they have some more evidence we haven't heard about, I just don't think we're gonna see much here. Short of the victim coming out and admitting that she made the whole thing up, I don't think there's any way for this to be more "in the clear". In fact, that's a good question....what would have to happen at this point to make him "in the clear"?

Might want to tap the brakes there. Yeah, it doesn't prove innocence. That said, like David said, it's probably the closest thing we'll get to proof of innocence, and probably means that most fans are going to give him a free pass. Kane probably doesn't even need settle now. It's a case that prosecutors are probably going to be very hesitant to pursue.
