    That's the kind of statement I've been waiting to hear from Kane's camp, but has never come. She could easily be telling the truth, but it seems hard enough to prove the allegations against Kane, and the accuser got a rape kit like an hour later. Unless this chick has some kind of damning evidence, this sounds impossible to prove. Yeah, but that's why it's not criminal. In a civil judgement, they just need a "preponderance of evidence", not "beyond a reasonable doubt".

    I think there was two big things with fans turning on Prior. One was that he just never seemed to heal. It's not his fault, but there got to be the "Prior is a [expletive]" meme going around. And two, just the way the media covered with the obsessive "Prior watch". I think people just got sick of hearing about it.

    Yep, and he's tweeting at the local talk radio and they're lapping it up. Guh. This is beyond unacceptable. That anyone on NSBB would spend time listening to local talk radio? Yes. Oh get off your high horse. And I'm strictly talking about twitter here. I have no idea what was/wasn't said on the radio.

    Sadly, it doesn't surprise me at all. It's a tough crime to have clear cut evidence for in the first place, but then there's the added resistance of thinking the presence of a condom could mean it was rape, or if she's not (to be horribly blunt) torn up then, hey, it couldn't have been rape, right? It's a miracle anyone ever gets convicted over these sorts of crimes. I wasn't clear. I meant specifically what he said about cases involving children.

    From what I was able to see it basically amounts to being able to prove penetration or not. Maybe they have bite marks or bruises or something, but no proof of penetration, so sexual assult.
