I endorse this method. Shame the a-holes who fill out idiotic ballots into at least having to defend their stupid choices. I feel like a lot of these guys are more than happy to defense their stupid choices and feel no shame in making stupid decisions. That's like sports columnist 101 right there. Or Trump 101.

everybody knows Castro loves Cubs fans, what this thread presupposes is, maybe he doesn't? I think the guy probably looked back fondly on his time in Chicago and is ready to move on. But his agents/PR people felt like there was a lot to be gained by blowing smoke up the fans' collective butts so they had "him" write a story with flowery language and all the feels because baseball fans are suckers for the mythology of the game and how the players reciprocate their love but we have thankfully moved a bit beyond that in modern times. http://static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/6/69852/3449330-tumblr_loq5o7rd4n1qzl8s1o1_400.gif

Buccigross was talking about that on twitter last night. The implication was that yeah, playing with Kane helps. But the dude is a finisher. I think he said a "sniper." I guess you can say he gets a little more space because Kane and Anisimov need to be accounted for. But there is no denying Panarin is a world-class offensive talent. Yep. I mean, Kane being on the ice had nothing to do with Panarin's shot off the faceoff last night.

Are these names of actual people? The Cornbelter's are the Frontier League team down here in Bloomington/Normal. Their claim to fame is that Ozzie Guillen's kid played for them for a while, and Ozzie himself "guest managed" at one point last year. No idea about that pitcher...just saw something on reddit and figured i'd make a rare minor league forum appearance to share.
