  1. Mojo predicted it in the first post of the thread! kinda....sorta....
  2. Diaz or Hazelbaker would be great.
  3. It probably should make me nervous, but somehow I'm not worried that any Cubs are involved. Maybe I should be...but I'm not.
  4. Which is kinda too bad...cuz Cutch seems like a really good guy. Completely not hateable.
  5. [tweet] [/tweet]
  6. I know everyone has mistypes...but it's just kind of fascinating how you missed the word "me" twice in the same post. That is all.
  7. Third start in a row (no hitter included) with Jake walking guys.
  8. Getting into the deep Saved By The Bell cuts now.....
  9. You have 713 of them and I bet it makes you feel sort of good when you get one. It's OK to admit it, just like admitting Starlin is a whatever as a baseball player. He has 768 of them. He has given out 713. Mostly because he is a giant whore. He started off slow giving them out after the site reboot too...so he's made up a lot of ground.
  10. There you go....I gave you a like....doesn't that feel good? https://gfycat.com/ForsakenScratchyBoilweevil
  11. Agreed. I just occasionally go into my profile and look at all the "like actions" to make sure I know. Cuz I have to know!!! I didn't even know this was a thing you could do. People really pay close attention to their likes and who liked their posts? https://gfycat.com/FabulousHugeIndiancow
  12. So, Joe said on the radio that he didn't think Szczur's thing was bad, and said he didn't know anything about it yet, and wouldn't till he got to the ballpark.
  13. Ha....enjoy that pastor interviewing Matheny 2 years ago... https://www.thegospelcoalition.org/article/cardinals-manager-mike-matheny-on-baseball-manhood-and-faith But he says he doesn't force it..
  14. I don't think Matheny is compelling them to attend at all. Or at least that's not explicitly stated. I imagine that this guy was just available for those people that were interested in these kinds of things. The pic is great though.
  15. Is this implying that the Cubs fans are bandwagoners? If so, that's an awfully rich claim on a night when the paid attendance was 18,000 last night. When is the last time the Cubs had a paid attendance of 18,000? The 80s? All winning teams must be accused of having bandwagon fans. It is sports law.
  16. Kawasaki has to be called up just to be Screech.
  17. what drives me more crazy is the arbitrary nature of the notifications on the likes. i have no idea why certain ones notify me and most don't. Agreed. I just occasionally go into my profile and look at all the "like actions" to make sure I know. Cuz I have to know!!!
  18. Whoa, you guys didn't know you could hover over the number? That would drive me nuts not knowing who was liking stuff. I mean, I silently curse Mojo daily for requesting the likes because now I'm mildly obsessed with more fake internet points, as if Reddit wasn't bad enough.
  19. Right...and Theo's job involves a lot of negotiating contracts from the other side of the table. Theo is probably enjoying being on this side of it for a while. I couldn't possibly be less worried about it.
  20. He truly is the Zack Morris of the Cubs. This sounds like a commercial in the making.
  21. Or...and I'm just gonna throw this out there.....they're negotiating. For sure. I'd also throw back that it could be going really poorly, too. I suppose...if you just flat out disbelieve the things that have been said. But if you're going that route, you're just making stuff up, so there's no argument to be had.
  22. Like what? Either he wants more money then he's being offered, he doesn't like working for the Ricketts family, he's intrigued by the thought of going back to Boston.......something. Far too many times they have acted like something is close only to give a reason why it didn't get done. Or...and I'm just gonna throw this out there.....they're negotiating.
