    Or...and I'm just gonna throw this out there.....they're negotiating. For sure. I'd also throw back that it could be going really poorly, too. I suppose...if you just flat out disbelieve the things that have been said. But if you're going that route, you're just making stuff up, so there's no argument to be had.

    Like what? Either he wants more money then he's being offered, he doesn't like working for the Ricketts family, he's intrigued by the thought of going back to Boston.......something. Far too many times they have acted like something is close only to give a reason why it didn't get done. Or...and I'm just gonna throw this out there.....they're negotiating.

    Despite the cold, had a great time at Wrigley yesterday. Wish they'd have pulled it out, but at least they gave my son a reason to get excited at the end. Getting to run the bases was a lot of fun for him too. And some random guy gave him a brand new Cubs hat that he said someone had given to him. Ultimately a fun, if chilly day.
