Seems to me they were there to catch home runs. For free. you think that a few hundred people were there so they might get a chance to catch a home run if one went on the street? What other reason would there be?

Barry Rozner just said he thinks the Cubs win this tomorrow. That there's a scout he was talking to that thinks Kershaw must be tired, hence waiting till Game 6. And that the Cubs hit the ball hard against Kershaw even if they didn't get the results. Seeing him for the 2nd time in a week should be good for the Cubs. I choose to believe Barry.

Never thought I'd see a Cubs game go head to head with Bears/Packers, and have the Cubs game double the Bears in ratings. Was talking with a buddy yesterday about how this might be the lowest rated Bears/Packers game ever...not sure how it stacks up in that regard. -
Just got through the White Sox board, heading to GRB now Edit: My favorite is when they exaggerate the David Ross love. Which Sox board did you read? I just finished GRB and I'm ready for dessert. WSI, though honestly it wasn't as satisfying as GRB, imo.

"Why don't teams actually try to steal instead of dancing around with big leads? Why are they leaning back toward the base when Lester can't throw?" Seeing this all over this morning. I feel like Fox really failed to emphasize the psychology of Ross's backpicks. He didn't have to throw to first once last night, but the Dodgers were clearly keenly aware of him. -
