  1. North Texas-Memphis looks like the only exciting game out of this first batch.
  2. I absolutely love Durant. He could be a great pick in the 3rd round. I'd be very happy with that draft. WR isn't the biggest need, but if Jarrett is around at 31, there's a good chance he's the best player on the board at that point. And WR will become a need position after 2007. Moose is on his way out. Berrian could be a FA. Bradley hasn't been healthy or good enough. That draft would be near perfect for me. Get a top 5 WR. Get the best pure guard in the draft and my #1 sleeper at OLB. Wow I thought Jarrett was projected a lot higher...I didn't think he'd be there at 31. Is his value dropping?
  3. I beat ya to it by a few minutes...:) http://www.northsidebaseball.com/PremiumForum/viewtopic.php?t=39106 viewtopic.php?t=39106
  4. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2800232&name=FPT-2800232-031521&srvc=sz Good for Sammy. I'm genuinely glad to see him doing well.
  5. Your sig has hypnotized me. I'm unable to look away...
  6. It's all good, I have Purdue upsetting Florida, so I'm doing the same thing pretty much.
  7. That might help you-the occasional person has them going out in the 2nd round, but most people probably having them go farther than the sweet 16. But I want a perfect bracket! :P Who is your final four? Ohio State, NC, Wisc.......and....... SIU. Oh, looks like I'm not the only one that has SIU in the Final Four :D You're in Carbondale...you HAVE to pick them by law.... :D

  11. Butler up 12? suck.
  12. I have A&M in the sweet 16, so that wouldn't be cool if they blow this.
  13. ODU just chucking up 3's now?
  14. Well I had ODU losing to Maryland next round anyway, so it's not a bracket buster or anything for me.
  15. I jinxed it with my post....my bad.
  16. I did. Come on ODU! Me too. In fact, if ODU wins that, and the rest of the games stand as is, I'll be perfect through the first two batches of games... :D
  17. Especially this Monday just past...no Prison Break or Heroes...all I had was 24, and that's not enough for me nowadays.
  18. Yeah this was my initial thought too. If A-Rod has been telling "everyone" this, than why is only Olbermann reporting it? I don't think Keith is making it up, but maybe he's not really saying this to as many people as Keith thinks... I must keep myself skeptical on this.
  19. My problem with that is it will make it very difficult to get his name off the card when he's finally replaced with a decent player. Unless it's one of those erasable pens I used in junior high that ended up getting all over my hand as I wrote (lefty). Replacing him with a decent player might be a signifcant enough event to get a whole new card.
  20. You need a tv intervention... :P
  21. I noticed a pattern the past two seasons...Mike Brown goes down, this D goes south.... I noticed Mike Brown goes down, Bears finish with best record in NFC twice and go to Superbowl once. I would say Tommie Harris had much more to do with the defensive struggles at the end of the year than Mike Brown. Mike Brown's injury only hurt us so far as the safety was one of the weakest areas depth-wise. So long as safety is something addressed in the draft, Mike Brown isn't a huge issue. That being said, I'd like to see them keep Brown this season. I see no need to cut him for what little cap space he'll provide, especially if they aren't after any big free agents. Oh I agree. I wasn't advocating getting rid of Brown. We just need some depth behind him, because you can't count on a full season out of him.

  23. I agree to an extent. I don't mind him not being thrilled at the situation, but to throw a temper tantrum of this extent is just ridiculous. It reminds me of a scene in A Few Good Men... This is the same thing to me. Briggs complaining isn't a problem. If he had just come out, said he was unhappy, and preferred to be traded...fine. But beating us over the head with it is actually having the opposite effect than what he's intending.
  24. This is good news. I bet this gets done before opening day.
