    Thats because Kendall leaned into it, and our announcers aren't huge homers like the Sox ones. Well yeah, I knew why he did it... Not real sure why Kendall did that though...we needed the RBI.

    For us they put CSN+ over the local channel that they show university news and such on. Check those kind of channels for it.

    Meh. I wouldn't take that quote too seriously. I'm guessing it's just a tactic to try and lower trade demands. Hendry will make at least 1 more trade before the deadline. It might not be a big trade, but he's going to add someone. I dunno. I think most of the teams that have players that would be an upgrade for the Cubs are are asking for a whole lot for players this year from what I've read. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if nothing more happened.

    So Hunter looks like he has more pop that Jacque then...his ISO has pretty steadily been a bit higher.

    BABIP is batting average on balls in play. ISO is Isolated Power. I'm not a huge saber guy, so I'm not really familiar with ISO or RC/27

    :? Knowing the Cubs, Murton probably has from now until Monday to perform, and if he doesn't, they will make a trade. :lol: "You got 3 days kid, or I'm gonna trade you for Fred McGriff." It's way too late to get McGriff...he has a one month decision making process that we would've needed to get fired up sometime before the All-star break.

    For three days? This reminds me, is the deadline in the middle of the afternoon again this year? I wish they'd go back to the midnight deadline. Looks like 2pm central time. But I agree...midnight was better. I remember staying up thinking we might get Randy Johnson, and how ticked I was when Houston got him.
