    ARRRGH!! The whole "Marshall is inconsistent" movement is driving me absolutely insane. He's not inconsistent!!! He's had 2-3 bad outings all season long! And one of those, this last one, was because he had a freaking scratched cornea! I keep using exclamation points because so many people don't want to seem to pay attention. With the exception of the last time through the rotation, starting pitching HAS NOT be a problem with the Cubs.

    I definitely think the football board will get a lot more traffic than the Hoops one...although I'll probably be active on all of them...just less on the hoops one.

    If you're taking suggestions Tim, some method of displaying team allegiances may be in order...there's a diverse NSBB football crowd that will probably want to participate.

    Full Count 55 ABs 26 BBs 23 Ks .291/.512/.400 .912 OPS :) Wow...only 6 times did he get to a full count and put the ball in play? that does seem amazing... pretty sure I posted it right... link Duh...the walks don't count as AB's... #-o He had 82 plate appearances. I'm still confused, because that would mean he got 22 hits (55 ABs - 23 Ks) but that doesn't equal a .291 BA. Am I missing something? HBP? Just because he didn't K doesn't mean he got a hit.

    I have owned the domain names for SecondCityFootball.com and SecondCityHoops.com for a long time now. But I can't find time to keep this site up to date! Maybe I should just set them up as message boards and not worry about anything else for now. Any interest out there? Definitely.

    Well, not really . . . I think Melman is going to actually BE an owner. And if he's friends with Stoney, then that could lead to a front office job. At the risk of incurring the wrath of you guys - What's the main beef with Stone as a front office guy? I mean, is it SS as GM that you don't want to see, or are you equally scared of him as Asst GM (or even Assistant TO the GM?)? I don't want Steve Stone involved in personnel decisions at any level.
