    I can see how the Nets would be appealing to LBJ. Jay-Z is part owner and I think they have a better core group of players than the Knicks. And aren't they moving to Brooklyn? He could be the face of a "new" franchise and be able to blaze his own trail while still in NYC.

    I'd like to thank Dish Network for adding the NHL Network to my package sometime here recently without my knowledge. I enjoyed watching the game last night. Although it did make for a late night.

    I was around for the Dawson days and I was a big fan of his, but I don't feel this is any kind of egregious error. I just think it is a shame that he wants to go in as a Cub and the HOF ignored his request. It's not like Wade Boggs requesting to go in as a Devil Ray. The Hawk had a great career in Chicago.

    I love posters who overreact to some rumor. We should have fired Hendry when he signed Ankiel, Posednick, Contreras, etc. As I 've posted before, Hendry gets bashed whether he makes a move or not. It's not a matter of whether he gets the deal done. The idea that these are the players he deems worthy of pursuing is very troubling. Here is a quote from Bruce Miles on the subject.
