  1. Only the Cubs...and Rangers.
  2. Not for the head coaches. The assistants do all the work. that's just not true. I wouldn't say the assistants do all the work, but at many schools they do a large majority of it. I'm sure there are some head coaches that like to be more involved than others, and for some, the level of involvement might depend on the recruit. But for the most part, there's usually an assistant coach that handles most of the legwork when it comes to recruiting. Head coaches don't hit the road a lot in football recruiting. I think they get 1 in home visit per recruit and that is usually done with the big time recruits closer to signing day. I think they spend more time on the phones and writing letters when it comes to recruiting.
  3. with OU, @Nebraska and @Tech coming up, it's absolutely a must win. We need to go 2-2 at the absolute worst during this stretch. It's a huge game for A&M, too. We lost the last two games against ranked opponents (one on the road and one at a neutral site) after a 3-0 start against creampuffs. This will be the first good team to visit Kyle Field. Sherman needs to start winning games like this or we will be searching for yet another new head coach in the very near future. Probably a new AD, too.
  4. The Hammer happened there.
  5. Because they beat the mighty USC.
  6. How does Les Miles sit down with that giant horseshoe shoved up his ass?
  7. "Looks like he's playing centerfield there."

  10. Here comes OT. So much for getting any sleep tonight.
  11. The home opener isn't on Center Ice?
  12. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
  13. Damn, I didn't realize that the regular season opener was tonight until about an hour ago.
  14. Signed a dude that was cut by a UFL team? Sweeeeeeeeeeeet.
  15. It wouldn't surprise me to find out that Cutler played at least some portion of the first half with a concussion. The line was atrocious, but there were several plays where Cutler held onto the ball for way too long sometimes missing wide open receivers. Another minor thing that drove me nuts was Cutler running out of bounds for a loss. There is no excuse for that. Once you are outside of the pocket, just throw the [expletive] ball away if you can't find anyone open or run for positive yardage.
  16. He probably punched somebody
  17. Wonderful. And this happened on an off day, too.
  18. Oh, it won't surprise me to see him get a 3-year deal. I guess I was just (foolishly) hoping the Cubs could re-sign him a 1 or 2-year deal. He's going to be 35 before Opening Day, so I would be nervous giving him a long term deal at this point.
  19. When did Ronny Cedeno move to the OF?
  20. Life as an Aggie. Yet another soul crushing loss. :cray:
