  1. I feel your pain. I will be watching two teams that A&M beat play for the conference championship when we had the same conference record as those two teams.
  2. You guys are really trying too hard to rile me up and it's not working at all.
  3. Go Texans! Go Redskins! Go Bengals!
  4. will gameday be there? Not unless they moved the game to Wrigley. I hear you people don't care about football in the south.
  5. If you're talking about the Cubs, we lose Grabow, Samardzija, Fukudome, Ramirez(team option), Silva, and Dempster has a player option. If you're wondering what's available through FA next offseason, the short answer is not much. But, 1B options could include Prince, A-Gon and even Pujols. I was wondering how much was coming off of our payroll. Thanks for the info.
  6. What contracts expire at the end of the 2011 season?
  7. TCU doesn't add any value to the Big 12. Sure their football team is good, but we have plenty of good football teams already. They don't add any new recruiting areas or TV markets.
  8. That would make me giddy.
  9. OLine HAS to be the #1 priority, IMO.
  10. Agree. Great win today.
  11. Arizona up 14-7 on Oregon late in the first quarter.
  12. That "Let's Go Bulls" chant was real loud. DRose is flat out amazing.
  13. If you consider Sagarin highly, he has Texas A&M as a top 15 team. South Carolina is also #16 according to Sagarin. Those may not be signature wins, but they're definitely significant wins. For what it's worth, Florida is also a top 25 team according to Sagarin. I'm not arguing the SEC West is dominant or anything, I've already said the conference as a whole is down this year. However, they do have wins of note this year. The Texas A&M team that Arkansas beat is not the same team we are now. We have been light years better since the QB change, along with a small change on the OLine. I would love another shot at the hogs now. I hope we get to play a good SEC team in the Cotton Bowl. I'm not guaranteeing any victories or anything like that. I'd just like to see how we stack up against an LSU or 'Bama at this point in the season.
  14. to the optometrist for thicker glasses?
  15. No one was really upset that GameDay didn't come to College Station. I was disappointed with the decision and hoped they would choose a better matchup instead of picking a game simply because of the venue. And just because a game is low scoring, doesn't mean it is a bad or boring game. It's like a 1-0 pitcher's duel in baseball. Both defenses were outstanding last night. It's not like either team has a crappy offense. As for the Brothers Pelini, they are both classless jerks. Bo got an unsportsmanlike flag for one extended tirade on an official and his team had about 6 or 7 personal fouls on the night. The last roughing the passer that gave us the first down on what turned out to be the game winning drive was a terrible call. He has every right to be pissed about that one. But pretty much every other penalty was legit. I know the guy that was attacked by Carl Pelini. Here is his statement on the confrontation:
  16. Texas is much better at execution. Some states are banning executions. Ours is putting in an express lane. [/Ron White]
  17. What a friggin' joke this game has become. Great idea, but the execution is poor IMO.
  18. Let's go, Illini. Finish these [expletive] off already.
  19. He is looking mighty good tonight. So much better than Chester.
  20. "What great ball placement." THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!
