    I hate this idea more than anything. Trade Fields if you’re drafting a QB #1.

    Florida State was also an undefeated team while A&M barely qualified for a bowl. So yes our opponent wasn’t Georgia but we also weren’t FSU.

    A&M had 55 scholarship players for their bowl game including only 3 WR’s. The walk on 12th Man started at LB. We had 2 starters playing on defense. Our 3rd string QB was knocked out of the game on the first play from scrimmage. And we lost by 8. FSU just took the biggest beat down in the history of bowl games.

    If the Bears had competent coaching we’d be a playoff team right now with Fields at QB. Three games lost with well over 90% 4th quarter win probability due to piss poor coaching.

    Same way a lot of the Polynesian kids end up playing in the state of Utah. Doesn’t make sense to me but it’s a real thing.

    I’m obviously partial here with Johnson being a fellow Aggie but he’s building quite a resume already. I’d be all for giving him a shot to run the offense.

    I’m probably the only one left that wants to run it back with Fields as long as Goatse isn’t calling plays. If we don’t have a new OC it won’t matter if they find a way to bring Tom Brady out of retirement. I’m not sold on any of the QB’s in this draft so maybe that’s why I’m more willing to give Fields another shot after upgrading the OL, adding another true weapon at WR, and getting someone at least halfway competent to call plays.

    I’m to the point of being OK Flus is retained but Getsy HAS to go. He’s horrible.
