I know he's a terrible announcer but I love Coomer. He's grown on me just like Santo. Him & Pat together are fun to listen to. And now I wait for the ridicule. i don't particularly like coomer as a color guy, but i'm specifically referring to his play by play that would've been awful descriptively even for a televised broadcast Oh, yeah. The few times I've heard him do PBP were painful.

How hard is it to get a backup radio announcer who knows how to properly align the pitch of his/her voice to the importance of the play they are calling? It's been a problem for like the last 4 guys they've had. The worst was still Sirott though. His tone and intensity would change several times during the same call coomer is and was the worst no matter how bad zaidman is, i at least know what is going on because he doesn't call the plays like the listener can see them I know he's a terrible announcer but I love Coomer. He's grown on me just like Santo. Him & Pat together are fun to listen to. And now I wait for the ridicule.
