    this whole "food porn" kick just now reminded me about the "epic mealtime" youtube videos that someone showed me back in the early 00's. they're pretty stupid. but seem pertinent given the theme (or at the very least pertinent to mojo).

    I am ignoring any contrary evidence to prop up the fantasy that Archer is the target we're after. - He's past the injury nexus and has proven to be durable, but he still has 3-5 years of team control - His performance this year should suppress his value a bit(or cause the Rays to doubt enough to pull the trigger on dealing him) but it's still plenty logical to see him as a TOR guy moving forward - Soler being a main piece makes sense given their OF situation and also explains the Reddick/Bruce rental rumors - The Dodgers' interest could be manufactured(they'll trade prospects when they're cold and dead from TJS thank you very much) to try and drive up the price - Tampa wouldn't shy away from taking better prospects at lower levels, so Torres could be another main piece I don't think there has ever been a TT post I've disagreed with (well except hair stylist tipping)

    well i've long surrounded myself daily with a bunch of people who i would call assholes. so that could be a part of it.

    i don't think the cubs should consider giving up any guys for sale. they are finally BUYERS not SELLERS. geez, kind of disappointed this is even being discussed.

    i've never really been a big fan of spaghetti. most of the times when i say this out loud whoever is around me tells me i'm crazy and dumb. so i wouldn't be surprised with that kind of reaction here, either. i'd prefer lasagna or even baked ziti in favor of spaghetti 100 times out of 100* *Except for my friend mike who is italian and made it one time for me with his grandmother's recipe. but it didn't consist of spaghetti noodles (they were a thicker form of ziti noodles iiic. and it came with some delicious but not traditional spaghetti sauce and featured chicken, sausage and some other kind of meat (maybe it was beef in the sauce). TONS of meat that was delicious but i don't know anyone else who would call that or think of that when they think of spaghetti.
