    JINX It's kinda hard to be "worthfull" when 2 people colide into you when you are catching the ball. :wink: Theriot was clearly calling for it It's not his to call. The priority goes CF, SS, 2B. We couldn't even see if Izzy was calling for it. Theriot was being stupid. How can you assume Izturis was calling for it, though? How can everyone assume that he wasn't? His face was turned away from the camera. Jones wasn't calling for it. That means it's Izzy's ball by default. Theriot called for it. It's not Izturis' ball by default. That's the whole point of calling it. And if nobody called for it, it's whoever can catch it. Cesar may very well have been calling for it, as well, but you can't assume he was. The priority goes CF, SS, 2B in that situation. I think Bob even mentioned it. The priority is CF, then whichever of the MI has a better angle. The better angle? Izzy was there. His angle wasn't bad. And there wasn't time to check each others angles. Izturis' angle was more along 1 o clock, while theriot's was 10 o clock..in my opinion it's an easier play for theriot esp. when he's calling for it.

    Not trying to single you out, but what's with people writing this? "Of" makes no sense whatsoever. It's "have". yeah, but this is a game thread,not english class. so basic communication skills are unnecessary? i think we all know what he meant though.

    It was 2-0 with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth, game tied. If he walks Aramis, Cubs win. I think it's safe to guess it would have been a strike. nah, the third pitch definately would have been ball three. it was significantly outside and high IMO.

    marquis - looked great, one bad pitch (doumit hr) cubs runs - first inning - theirot and lee back to back doubles third inning - soriano solo hr fifth inning - crazy inning, no hits but 4 walks, 1 HBP and 1 WP
