So have they looked at Hoffpauir? I do believe that Micah was ranked #10 at one time last week in all of Major League Baseball for the 14 homruns he has hit. DUH???? How far do you have to look? If they have no faith in him, why not let be released? Micah, keep ripping it!!! Maybe they will notice....after all you are in their AAA division!!!! Maybe they will realize they need to give you a shot!!! Saw your Q & A interview. Keep that good attitude.

    Go Micah!!!!! What a prospect for Chicago? Is this the power hitter that they are needing? In his interview he commented that it wasn't just Pringles Park that he would hit in. Way to go Micah!!!! :D :D :D :D

    Listening to the Diamond Jaxxs. Hear that Hoffapuir's wife is in town, and he is smacking that ball again. He is currently 3 for 4 with two doubles and a single. Keep it up, Micah!!! We believe you can make it to the top!!!! Maybe someone up there is watching!!!! Go Cubs!!!!

    Hey! How about Hoffpauir in Tennessee!!!! He has finished the Braves series with 10 for 19. 3homeruns, 9RBIs!!! Wow! Maybe that power is coming around. His stats for the Southern League: HR - 1st (5) RBI- 1st (16) Avg.-7th (.324) SLG. 1st (.712) OPS- 3rd (1.062) Show them, Micah!!!

    As far as Hoffpauir playing RF, I don't think that will happen. He is a lefty. They do play him in LF. Sorry guys....not his wife! Don't have to be a woman to disagree! Hoffpauir seems to be a hardworker...dedicated. Watched him through college. Would like to see him make it.

    Hey, Putmeincoach, I watched Hoffpauir in Texas, too. Hear that he is having a great spring. Think that he is 11 for 25 with about 12 RBIs. He has just been told that he will be at 2A only as a backup player. Seems there are alot of politics in this Cub organization. Doesn't appear to be what you can do, but what money they have in you.

    Tim, what are you basing your opinion of Hoffpauir on? Have you looked at the stats as far as his errors go? Seems like a pretty good vaccum cleaner!!!

    :?: Hey! What is up with Micah Hoffpauir???? He has performed well for the Cubs and now they are moving him to Double A. Last year he was involved in a trade and they sent him down from Iowa to West Tenn when he had a 4 for 5 night with a homerun and several RBIs if I recall it correctly. What is up with the Cubs??? Seems as if they are looking only at their money players. They don't have alot of money in Hoffpauir. Seems as if politics is invovled. The guy is 12 for 25 with about 12 RBI for spring training. He has proven his defense with few errors. What do they want??? A money man or a proven talent!!!! What do you think????
