If he plays long enough, he'll break Reggie Jackson's all time strikeout record. Dunn has only played 4.5 seasons and is already almost 1/3 of the way to Reggie's record. He'll definately have a shot if he doesn't get hurt but would need to average 150 a year for about 12 years to have a get the record. He'll definately shouldn't have problem getting into the top 10 or 20 though. He already has the single season strikeout record (altough Jose Hernandez would have it if his manager didn't sit him out the last week+ of the year). Personally, I would like to see Dunn go for 200 K's on the year. With 18 so far in 12 games that puts him on pace for 243 on the year. Let the Adam Dunn strikeout watch begin. In the three full seasons he has played his lowest single year total was 168. When you have an OBP of 400, it really doesn't matter how many times you K. I suppose. He walks a lot also. He's a freak. He played last season with a broken hand and he didn't get it fixed over the winter
